your "good lucks" at the end of each post are thinly veiled scaremongering and you write in a similar style to the only other knocker on this thread...

Everything bolis down to the fact that Stanelco have a few products which are well on the way to taking off... of course this is a risky investment.... they wont all sell a million...but its more fun than investing in ftse co's

and the threads are more interesting!

happy weekend everybody...

Sequestor - 21 May 2005 10:27 - 4512 of 27111

wishing people "good luck", is scare mongering?

Might go back to AOL boards. Less bitching. Aldwikk knows what I mean. Lets leave personalities out of it guys. This is a great thread on a (potentially) great company. We are all big boys and we know the risks in any share deal. Post your comments by all means, good or bad, and let us all make our own minds up. I am in (not as cheap as I wanted but still in good profit).
Share markets are littered with the bones of those who backed sure fire FTSE100 companies hoping for steady gains and lost their shirts and small investors gambling the lot on fledglings and making a mint. Nothing is certain, we know that. Respect for each others views and holdings, long or short, and lets stick to that and news (or rumour of news) only.
Alan

Sorry I really can't help my self Ramping

eric
You have mentioned this about four time now that SEO have redefined themselves as a copyright licensing company, and no one has picked up on it, I agree this is excellent news, less risk, less lay out, and much preferred by the city, than some small electrical engineering company.

markusantonius
Excellent name.

pisces
Well said, SEO are not affected by the other sectors, my thoughts good post.

Ruthies
You wont have to buy eric a drink there is to much in the pot from jimmy b.

Sequestor
You keep ranting on about SEO being a 1p share, there are dozens of 1p Share Companys with massive M/Caps do your research. Good Luck.

GOTYA - 21 May 2005 11:32 - 4515 of 27111

I think it would be fitting to post the name and address of insideinsider on the public threads. In this way each and everyone who may have been harmed or damaged can take the appropriate action against the individual as they see fit.

Can those who visit other finacial/share sites assist by sharing this as widely as possible? thank you in advance.

In the interim, it will be nice to see the anxiety and perspiration levels rise, poetic justice I believe it is called.

jimmy b - 21 May 2005 11:57 - 4517 of 27111

Yes agree that's going a bit too far, calm down..
Driver how come there's too much in the pot from me !

superrod - 21 May 2005 12:41 - 4518 of 27111

i never thought the day would come when i put in a good word for sequestor ( or oldolie as he is better known ). he is not scaremongering, just voicing an opinion ( one i share incidentally ).

the market decides what any share is worth. at present SEO represents mega profit for a fortunate few. i posted recently that it could virtually collapse and you shrewd investors will still get out ahead.

the reality is that everyone and their mother is tipping this. it CANT and WONT go up indefinitely.

i am not bashing ( having a modest 52k shares at 14.9 ) just being realistic.
i made 9k in 12 weeks from minmet......18p to 35p.....now it really is a penny share.

i lost 6k on interex ( another hyped share ).

whatever the pros and cons, this is a high risk share, and the rewards AND possible losses reflect this.

my personal view ( as opposed to the view my brain says i should take ), is that this really is a share on the brink of greatness. only time will tell.

"the reality is that everyone and their mother is tipping this. it CANT and WONT go up indefinitely"

Not Ramping but they said that about Microsoft when it was 4.5 cents.
Well done by the way for minmet (There be Gold in them ills) a bit like NML but with Diamonds (sorry Di).

bosley - 21 May 2005 13:00 - 4521 of 27111

i think there has been a slight misunderstanding. at the top of your screens you will see 2 different titles: one is INVESTORS' ROOM , the other is TRADERS' ROOM. i think some people on this thread have got them confused.

superrod - 21 May 2005 13:02 - 4522 of 27111

driver
i am bullish about this but accept the reality of the markets. i will be as happy as anyone if it pans out. i am mega peed off because i bought a huge amount of these circa 5p. i sold at a minor loss because it was going nowhere.hindsight is great but so is being realistic.

i buy now on weakness and sell whenever ANY profit is made.it is much safer to get rich slowly.
i wish good luck to all investors in ANY share.

jimmy b - 21 May 2005 13:03 - 4523 of 27111

Driver i'll pay but i think i must calm down or it'll cost me my profit..

Investment Share tips - don't believe the hype !

Investments
BULLETIN BOARDS AND CHAT ROOMS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Every day, thousands of messages are posted on internet bulletin boards and chat rooms offering tips on shares. Most of these tips are innocent - but WATCH OUT! Some may turn out to be bogus - or even scams.

What are they?

Bulletin boards and chat rooms are internet sites where professional and private investors alike can exchange views and news on the stock market. It's just the same as exchanging gossip in your local pub about companies to buy shares in. But ask yourself, do you always believe everything you hear in the pub?

The only difference is the speed at which these notes can be posted on the internet and the sheer numbers of people who can access the information worldwide. But don't forget, the person you're "chatting" to is a complete stranger and could be anyone.

Sounds innocent enough?

Yes, most of it is. But there have been cases in the United States of unscrupulous people using bulletin boards and chat rooms to 'talk up' companies in which they hold shares, in the hope of boosting the price. They then sell their shares and make a quick profit. Once they stop hyping the shares, the share price often plummets - this is known as pumping and dumping.

So what happens?

Imagine that you buy shares in a company which has been 'talked up' on a bulletin board. If the share price then falls, you will own shares which are worth considerably less than you paid for them. What goes up can also go down. If you get caught up in a pumping and dumping scam, you could lose money FAST.

Touting for business
Remember!

Stanelco 4p - no orders

TIP - SPIN - HYPE - RAMP

Stanelco now 29p - still no orders and potential for only 100 to 200 from Asda in total.

Classic pumping and dumping IMO - who sold out last week and who is left holding the can now.

insiderinside - 21 May 2005 15:20 - 4527 of 27111

For those who may have heard rumours of Tetrapak talks - the rumour is really that Frogpack potentially infriges on Tetrapak patents (you can search patents on www.freepatentsonline.com) - Tetrapak have many patents - Stanelco about 5 (search for yourself).

So - this is where the source of the rumour could well be coming from - its talk about patent infringement according to the rumour - well - they are appealing against a breach of confidence finding with another company - so does it surprise this new rumour ??

Must watch the footy - and do my post for tomorrow later.

Stanelco (SEO) 28.50p

Wal-Mart speculation - Market valuation

Since we initiated coverage of Stanelco, (SEO) at 5p on November 7, 2003. Due to the collaboration with Aquasol - A partnership that would enable detergent capsule manufacturers to become low-cost producers of detergent capsules for laundry and home care applications, whilst at the same time improving the quality of their products and speed of manufacture, also enable SEO to accelerate development plans for RF technology. The excitement
surrounding SEO now is due to SEO`s revolutionary GREENSEAL tray-lidding technology and the successful trials with ASDA. We now have unconfirmed BB gossip, which suggests Wal-Mart will soon follow ASDA. We know Wal-Mart have been watching ASDA`s lead.

Let us look at some facts
Though I have not seen a pack in the market place, there is little doubt that the ASDA trials have been successful. Had there been leakage, or some kind of adverse symptom, it would have been all over these pages. For the same reason, we must be looking at something like the promised 20% saving in packaging material cost and a lot higher saving in energy - Howard White is
quoting 75% and explains that the system seals at only 50 C degrees.

Looking at the whole of SEO 2004 losses as overhead on the current business, the accounts suggest a current maximum running at the rate of 3m /pa, possibly much lower. The current capitalisation of around 250m for a technology of such influence on the global economy is probably justified in our opinion by a PE of 30 and thus by a profit after tax of 8m. The asking rate for royalty of 35,000/pa is likely to reduce to 25,000 for ASDA type bulk contracts and
thus needs 320 machines to justify the 8m.

We have also heard that the hardware for retrofitting just about 'washes its face at $25,000 per installation' - but targets and hopefully leaves a one off profit of 5,000 - which should cover 50 -75% of the previous overheads and operating losses So the ASDA deal roughly sustains the current share price on its own. So whether Wal-mart makes an announcement or not, the price
reflects no more than the existing ASDA requirement. You get Frog Pack, Cradlewrap Aquasol,Adept Polymers and Starpol, Solutape,.... and Wal-mart for nothing. Not to mention that the market everyone is referring to is just Europe and N America. The world's second largest market lies in Japan - not yet mentioned nor is any of the packaging requirement in Taiwan, S.Korea, Australia N/Z, S.Africa, Brazil, etc etc..........None of these are yet factored in - probably because it is unrealistic to expect their requirements to be capable of being addressed for at least 2/3 years whilst SEO attain their stated objective to fit 27,000 machines and much less than
half of the global market by then.

cheers HM

Typical of a Lemming to try to support the hype - do not Lemmings follow each other to the doom ? LOL
Lemming has been one of PM1s most useful assets in the pump of this and he is always referring to it - read my site and go to see some Lemmings.
