OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

We had 2 specials on the menu today -

Marvellous Margate Muffins and
Berlusconi's Bacon Baps.

Unfortunately there was an inadvertent increase of 7% heat in the grill; we were not able to save Berlusconi's Bacon.

Hi Jeffers, no I won't go to Margate tomorrow, that's quite a journey. Must be all of three miles.

Quiet in here of late, I'll make a pot of tea. Maybe someone will wish to share it with me.

Much as I like coffee, I can't drink it. But thanks anyway. I'll stick to tea, in a bone china cup, with a saucer of course. I can manage the 'pinkie' as well, if required. Couth or what!
