Maintenance: Site downtime Friday 6th August @ 23:45.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 05 Aug 2004 13:18

Hello.

Since the switch over we have had a few teething issues, so to save you reading all the posts on this thread, ill list the ones that have been found, and when they have been fixed, cross them out. If things are not working despite being 'fixed', ill put them back on the list.

MoneyAM Website
Closing bid/offer prices skewed
Charts: OHLC not being saved, breaking candle sticks.
Market Scan issues.

If there is any that I have missed, please let us know.

LEE,

Will take a look.

LEE,

The way it works now is that the chart will display yesterdays data instead of staying blank, until new data is received at open today.

I C , what about the stockwatch trades showing etc, is this the same as what you say above, resetting at open ??

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Aug 2004 08:01 - 458 of 616

The live data displayed on my Ipaq using a mobile account is different to the data I am getting om my pc account. Also, news ticker being dispalyed for JRVS and BOOT but no news is actually available. I am using the latest mobileam software as advised in your e mail.

LEEWINK - 17 Aug 2004 08:59 - 461 of 616

streaming chart has frozen, refreshed to redraw.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 Aug 2004 09:10 - 462 of 616

Lee,

Can you give me the epic of the stock you were looking at, and can you also tell me whether the refresh has cleared the problem or not?

Ian

The Cumulative Vols are reset to 0 each night, it's a pity the Buy, Sell, Unknown Vols can't be reset at the same time.

All,

I have increased the retention for Intraday data to 72 hours (3 days), this will start backfilling from today.

Assuming everything is stable until Monday, I will increase it to the old 5 days.

I have also amended the header of this thread, added a few new found problems and removed all the resolved ones.

The INDU streaming graph is static. It does show the price/line etc, but no movement. All other streaming charts are OK like FTSE 100. I have done several deletes of temp internet files and refreshes but still no joy.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 17 Aug 2004 16:04 - 467 of 616

Yoyo,

This problem was noted last week at the top of the page, we hope to have a fix in place soon. we are currently working on the close prices problem.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 17 Aug 2004 16:05 - 468 of 616

all,

We will be restarting the level1 streaming services in about 5 minutes. If your browsers do not reconnect within a minute or two, please hit the 'refresh' button.

Please press ctrl-refresh if the applet will not restart.

GRAEME.ALEXANDER - 17 Aug 2004 17:03 - 471 of 616

CWV CMS Webview shows 6.25p in stockwatch and close 6.25p after close it was correct in portfolio then just before 5pm dropped to 5.75 inportfolio but still correct in stockwatch. Graeme

Hi TulletJ,

Some progress : the percentage gain or loss for the day is right and the mid-column is right now as well.

Though the bid & offer prices are still incorrect.

teletigger - 17 Aug 2004 18:01 - 473 of 616

Tullett......Have I caught you just before knocking of time..(not including your contract on Ian of course)...(oops).....good...whats going on with these B/S/% figures, They're all over the place. No, I'm not going to quote you epics....75% on my stockwatch are wrong. 100% if I could be arsed to figure it. This is not professional. There are people out there (not me..yet) paying top dollar for this service and yes, you are quick to address problems, very consumer friendly, quick to apologise, but at the end of the day.....service is king. Competition must not be there at the moment. These problems must be addressed in hours not weeks, or I as a professional, (i.e....my livlihood,(i.e. food in my childrens mouths)) would be forced to seek more reliable providers.
I would like to say that, in my opinion, the input of your subscribers far exceeds (in professional terms) the output of the company as a whole. This statement, in no way, reflects any individual performances from any of your staff.
If I have offended anyone with these comments, I sincerely apologise.

MoneyAm is a top notch company,(in It's field), but I see sentiment getting in the way of excellence.
Can do better never won the "Victor Ludorum". Never be afraid to upset people who don't agree with your "ethic".
After a week .....Mr nice guy wears off....where's my "effing money" kicks in.

I'll get my coat.
regards
