Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

There has been a fire at one of our hosting sites, which means the building is currently cordoned off. This is what is causing the problem I am afraid.

Please accept my apologies,

Ian

Is there a thread for getting help with MAM site functionality. If so, please could somebody point me there. If not, here's my questions, any tips appreciated ;
(I've looked at the help pages, and can't see answers there).

Re. Stockwatch,
... can we rename watchlists ?
... can we alter the order of watchlists in the watchlist drop-down-box ?

Re. Trades,
... I can see a single page of trades (about 50 trades), with input boxes at top to specify day/time range for the trade data. Specifying times earlier than the earliest trade on the current page, doesn't produce any earlier data. Are earlier trades available, or do we just get 1 page.

Thanks, D.

Dieng,

In answer to your questions, You can rename stockwatch lists, by using the edit function.

The watchlists are ordered in the order that you originally enter them, and cannot at this point be re ordered.

To get trades information which goes furthe rback, you need to first of all switch off the live stream, this is done in the sort by box.

Hope this helps,

Ian

I have messages on ffox and advent browsers that your security certificate is out of date.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 10 Mar 2006 07:49 - 4560 of 7315

Digger,

That is strange as it was renewed only a few months ago - can you check the date and time on the clock in your system tray in the bottom right hand corner of the sreen to make sure it is set correctly?

Ian

Guvnor - 10 Mar 2006 07:54 - 4561 of 7315

I have also had the security cert warning come up

Digger - 10 Mar 2006 07:56 - 4562 of 7315

time correct here

IanT(MoneyAM) - 10 Mar 2006 07:56 - 4563 of 7315

Guvnor,

Tnanks for that - can you also check the time and date in your system tray. In the meantime, I will get the tech guys to check things out this end,

I logged in this am using ffox then closed it and opened advent to access l2 and the site after loading l2 I was then logged out as the site stated that I had logged in from another comp.As I had not done this I am at a loss to know how to overcome this other than a reboot .
