I remember my Dad finding a Koran and just reading out by chance that if an elephant was badly treated : whoever did that would be badly treated....not exactly in those lines but along those lines....I remember this, years on....and agree....

Heavens help those who badly treat elephants and I catch up with them....

I don't think you can have seen, that this baby came from a 'slaughtered by poachers herd', which had a size of 100 elephants.

On the BBC internet news site.....I watch that more than the TV news....not too keen on seeing the slaughter....the rescue yes.....something needs to done about the murdering negro poachers out there...

It stretches back to the murdering Chinese who buy the ivory. You won't stop the poaching while there is a market for the tusks. The poachers have no interest in the elephants and just want some money. There will always be be people willing to do something illegal for cash.
