Proper broadband (512kbps) is only 18.99, see http://www.plus.net/info2/residential/res_broadband_adslhomesurf_selfinstall.html.

There are a couple of restrictions e.g. no P2P programs (Kazaa etc.) and no binary newsgroups.

As for "too tight fisted for broadband" chance would be a fine thing.
Living in a 3rd world country we are still waiting, should be here soon.
Then we just need the electric and it's all go.......
We may even get our own hospitals too, well we live in hope.

It's only a marketing ploy you know! What do you think of the PTG rumours? The posters on advfn are going bananas with speculation. Takeover at 10p, 35p or what, or nothing maybe.

Jeff I think that would be a bad idea. General opinion is that 10p won't do it and the offer would have to be increased. I shall wait and see, as always.
