BUGS - Report them here (BUGS)

zzaxx99 - 24 Jan 2003 09:02

The "number unread" column doesn't work. When you come back to the site (and log-in again) the number unread is being reset to the number of messages in the thread.

Also, though I can't put my finger on what the exact circumstances are, I'm havoing to log-in over and over again, which is really getting on my wick.

Presumably colsec was trying to add EPIC ISF rather than typing "IsharesFTSE100" into the box. I find I can add it, but strangely the name of the stock is not known. It should be "IsharesFTSE100", of course. Ishares are a special type of investment fund which track the indices they represent.

I have just had a job to get streaming prices at all although they were working earlier.

I also find that sometimes the prices freeze and leave you with a page that is not updating although you might not realise it at first.

Diogenes - 29 Jan 2003 16:17 - 49 of 170

Grey screen here: no stockwatch at all.

Teci - 29 Jan 2003 16:27 - 50 of 170

Yeah not working here now either.

zzaxx99 - 29 Jan 2003 16:43 - 51 of 170

Really, really, really hacked off with being repeatedly logged-out - is there a time limit on a connection or something?

teletiger - 29 Jan 2003 16:46 - 52 of 170

My streaming froze at 15.24 and nothing will shift it.

Hiya,

there was a small glitch with the streaming services which has now been resolved.

All logs and errors have been passed to the development team who are currently working on a permanent fix!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused...

J.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 29 Jan 2003 17:39 - 55 of 170

All,

A fix for the bug has been put in place, and the services reloaded, now *that* streaming bug should not happen again!

:)

for probably the fifth time; UNDER MARKET CAP YOU ARE SHOWING NORTHERN ELECTRIC AS THE BIGGEST STOCK IN THE LSE.

CAN THIS BE TRUE???????????????????

;-)

MightyMicro - 29 Jan 2003 23:22 - 57 of 170

robber: doesn't seem awfully likely, really.

Investigating . . . (may be a a data provider problem).

teletiger - 30 Jan 2003 08:04 - 58 of 170

no streaming again........stuck on last night's finish

teletiger,

Should all be ok now, please check the 'streaming' thread!

The streaming trade information is working, but the non-streaming trade detail just come up with the message "No trades found".

The AppleMac I sometimes have to use is not compatible with streaming, so I hope that the other options will be restored.

Teci - 30 Jan 2003 16:12 - 61 of 170

I find that after a while the streaming page stops streaming (and freezes) and after a while you realise that no prices are changing. This could be misleading if you were going to do a deal on the prices shown. I find that if I bring up another window of streaming prices you can then see that the previous window has indeed frozen out and stopped streaming.

teletiger - 30 Jan 2003 16:22 - 62 of 170

Sort the trade percentages out.........please

regards

phobos - 30 Jan 2003 16:36 - 63 of 170

chrispoote - 30 Jan 2003 16:40 - 64 of 170

Why are there 2 NASDAQ 100s on the US Indices list, and why were their values different last time I looked?

chrispoote - 30 Jan 2003 16:42 - 65 of 170

Oh, and what's happened to S&P 500? And not just on this site either.
