MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

there's an awful lot of (far too much) badly made burgundy that is still expensive but better used for cleaning drains ..... this is why the pinots from NZ and Oregon and Washington, and sometimes Oz and California are so much sought - the quality is far more consistent, though the better ones are still far from cheap

tabasco - 28 Nov 2008 17:38 - 4608 of 8631

If you like lager Dil someone told this is very good.Samichlaus Bier.they reckon you could knock back ten pints in a night.give it a go.

halifax - 28 Nov 2008 17:43 - 4609 of 8631

cynic they are ok if you dont mind paying the shipping costs, personally we prefer to take a leisurely drive to Beaune and Bordeaux enjoy the degusation and then choose on the basis of that each of us enjoy. One man's meat etc...

Dil - 28 Nov 2008 17:47 - 4610 of 8631

As a bookie who can make a book on anything tabby what odds are you pricing "going bust" at ?

Dil - 28 Nov 2008 17:49 - 4611 of 8631

I tend to stick to what I know tabby ... Becks , Grolsch or Carling is good enough for me , I'm just a simple lad.

cynic - 28 Nov 2008 17:51 - 4612 of 8631

i have both in my cellar ...... unfortunately, the likes of Anne Gros and Leroy don't sell to the public, but middle-of-the road Ch de Marsannay makes some pretty good wines (several reds and and whites and a very acceptable rose) and will also deliver FOC to Calais ..... having tasted and bought wines there when we last visited Beaune, we have now started taking the Calais option.

to give you an indication, in late August 2008 the 2005 Champs Perdrix (white), we think is very good value at 14.50 ..... the rose is 7.50 ..... Gevrey 1er Cru 2001 (i needed one for early drinking) is 27.00

tabasco - 28 Nov 2008 17:52 - 4613 of 8631

Halifaxif you find a Nuits Saint Georges that tastes like poisonIll give you the money myself..

Dil - 28 Nov 2008 17:54 - 4614 of 8631

Odds tabby ?

Big Al - 28 Nov 2008 17:59 - 4615 of 8631

You couldn't "handle" anyone, Tabatha. Born loser. ;-)))))

Nice way to end the week - MDX new closing low. At least when this goes bust, the BBs will be that much saner.

Gausie - 28 Nov 2008 18:00 - 4616 of 8631

Tabby - I reckon you must have have your 1st bottle before the market opens each day. That would explain a lot.

Al - get the weekend started man!

halifax - 28 Nov 2008 18:06 - 4617 of 8631

cynic we usually start in the south trying the early beaujolais which is fun then moving to Macon to pick up some pouilly fuisse and enjoying a good lunch in pouilly near the church. Then traveling north to puligny montrachet and getting into the serious wine tasting at various villages before usually ending up around gevrey chambertin or savigny- les- beaune. It makes a wonderfully relaxing break as long as the schools are not out!

tabasco - 28 Nov 2008 18:08 - 4618 of 8631

Dil if you drunk ten pints of Samichlaus Bier.you would end up just a simple lad!

Dil - 28 Nov 2008 18:09 - 4619 of 8631

Odds tabby , stop doing a BM.

cynic - 28 Nov 2008 18:11 - 4620 of 8631

3 of us go cycling for a week each year; strictly non-competitive and only about 40 miles a day so plenty of time to sight-see etc ..... 2 years ago it was around Beaune and next year (2009) it will be Macon and Beaujolais ..... we have also "done" circular trips in Champagne, Normandy, Bergerac and Cahors ..... quite fancy a one-way down part of the Danube which could rather jolly

tabasco - 28 Nov 2008 18:13 - 4621 of 8631

Had a great week bouncyask Gausiekeep on piling your money into banksdidnt he once ask if you really rented out bouncy castles

Big Al - 28 Nov 2008 18:19 - 4622 of 8631

That would look like a new form of derogatory comment, Dil.

"You're a feckin' BM, mate". Sounds better than "You're a dumbass Tabatha, mate", doesn't it?

ROFLMAO!

Why on earth would I pile into banks, Tabatha? That's almost (but not quite) as stupid as piling into this dungheap, MDX. ;-)))

Dil - 28 Nov 2008 18:26 - 4623 of 8631

Banks will still be here next year tabby.

kimoldfield - 28 Nov 2008 20:15 - 4624 of 8631

Let's hope so; big admirer of Gordon Banks m'self!

Big Al - 28 Nov 2008 20:25 - 4625 of 8631

Good point, Dil.

Can't see Brown and Darling riding to the rescue for MDX. ;-)))))))

Gausie - 28 Nov 2008 20:30 - 4626 of 8631

'tis true - our tabby has had a great week.

He's lost a few tens of thousands on mdx, said he was going to add then didnt, made a tardis trade on MKS which earned him some imaginery beer tokens, and entered a small postion on Britvic - next week we'll learn that he exited britvic at last weeks top and made maybe 1500. Unless we get a higher intraday sometime next week iwhere someone sells 9k, in which case he'll claim to have made a bit more.

His misses hasn't slung him out, and he's only made a twat of himself two or three times a day.

All in all a great week for our tabby.
