Just popped in to see how you all are.

As for "too tight fisted for broadband" chance would be a fine thing.
Living in a 3rd world country we are still waiting, should be here soon.
Then we just need the electric and it's all go.......
We may even get our own hospitals too, well we live in hope.
Anyone got a cheap braodband deal, Tiscali are offering a 3x for 14 a month.

Socrates - 06 Mar 2004 09:00 - 4612 of 23498

Good morning all, much speculation going on about PTG, such fun. Anyone for brekkies, full English?

jeffmack - 06 Mar 2004 11:18 - 4613 of 23498

Morning

Are we having a horse race today pooch? 3:30 Newbury would be a good choice, very open race.

jeffmack - 07 Mar 2004 11:06 - 4614 of 23498

Wel I'm not making the FEB, thats Socs job. So Muesli it is, which, by the way, is good for your mojo.

Socrates - 07 Mar 2004 13:36 - 4615 of 23498

Jeffmack
It's only a marketing ploy you know! What do you think of the PTG rumours? The posters on advfn are going bananas with speculation. Takeover at 10p, 35p or what, or nothing maybe.

jeffmack - 07 Mar 2004 15:05 - 4616 of 23498

Socs
Will be a good short at 10p

Socrates - 07 Mar 2004 17:40 - 4617 of 23498

Jeff I think that would be a bad idea. General opinion is that 10p won't do it and the offer would have to be increased. I shall wait and see, as always.

jeffmack - 07 Mar 2004 18:01 - 4618 of 23498

Socs
You were the one preaching the other day about how these offers come to nothing. I truely think its all hot air.

This_is_me - 07 Mar 2004 18:19 - 4619 of 23498

Jeff I think Millwall need rabbit pie to build up their strength for the replay.

hilary - 08 Mar 2004 13:43 - 4620 of 23498

It's quiet in here today. Is everyone down at McDonalds with Jeffmack having an Egg McMuffin?

jgp,

Now don't go knocking Ladas!

:o)

stockbunny - 08 Mar 2004 13:52 - 4621 of 23498

The bunny's not visiting Millwall thanks very much - I'll stick to
the West side, rumour has it the air's cleaner over here!

First into the tea-rooms today then....Oh well off to put the
kettle on & defrost the chocie eclairs for lunch!!

Hilary - I remember those (capri's) once upon a time it was cool
to owe one if I remember rightly, the 3 litre jobbies..
that's of course if you didn't own the vastly superior Cortina 1600E -
to quote my older brother in his youth.....
Ah you see the mass of important facts a little sister can learn...

hilary - 08 Mar 2004 14:03 - 4622 of 23498

Bunny Girl,

I used to own one of those Capris 5 or 6 years ago when I was 17 and just passed my test. Had to sell it though because I couldn't reach the pedals and, if I moved lower to reach the pedals, I then couldn't see over the steering wheel. Bought a 1300GT instead.

I also used to go out with a chap who sold his MkIII Cortina to buy a 1600E. I couldn't understand how he could be so stupid as to sell a newer model car to buy an older model so I dumped him.

stockbunny - 08 Mar 2004 14:14 - 4623 of 23498

Understandable...There was a real 'cult' thing over those 1600E's
which is/was generally beyond my comprehension!!
Ahh...17 only 5 or 6 years ago?? You lucky thing you, make the most of it
cos in a blink of an eye its gone and your staring at 40..
(sorry, may have put you off your tea now, have a chocie eclair
they are usually good for brightening up the day!!)

jeffmack - 08 Mar 2004 14:46 - 4624 of 23498

Looks like Millwall have a good chance for a trip to Cardiff, they love us the Cardiff supporters. I'm sure they will wait at the train station to welcome us to Wales. Should have finished Tranmere off yesterday, reply might be a bit tricky.

Hilary
99p for 10, that a bargain

hilary - 08 Mar 2004 15:18 - 4625 of 23498

There's nothing like a gourmet meal, Jeff ..... and that's nothing like a gourmet meal.

:o)

Are you not going to Cheltenham now?

jeffmack - 08 Mar 2004 15:25 - 4626 of 23498

Hilary
My friend who ordered the tickets thought he had more friends than he had. So I have a few tickets spare which I am trying to sell on E.Bay.

stockbunny - 08 Mar 2004 16:02 - 4627 of 23498

Ah Jeffius Mackius - good afternoon sir!

jeffmack - 08 Mar 2004 16:27 - 4628 of 23498
