Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Anything you can do with level 2 for Burren (BUR)

KBC stuck on the offer at 8.90 (since 12:43) and now 8.98

Hopefully we have seen the last at that price :>)

cheers

Mick

I'm getting really sick of this site logging me out all the time, i'm
not using mam anywhere else, very fustrating.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 30 Mar 2006 15:43 - 4616 of 7315

ravey,

This will be a cookie issue - are your cookies automatically deleted? YOu might want to clear your cookies first thing in the morning so that this does not occur. Also if youa re logging on with 2 different browsers at the same time (i.e. IE and Firefox), you will be logged out.

Give the clearing cookies in teh morning suggestion a go and let me know how you get on from tomorrow,

Ian

Thanks Ian.

Ian..the am live intraday charts keep going odd...every now and again bits of my graphs disappear...I have to redraw to get the last 30mins of chart to be redrawn again. This has happened over 10 times today. I also keep getting the charts going blank and red exception warnings coming up...such as Index was outside the bounds of the array :-(

Dynamite,

I will pass this onto James to take a look. Can you send me some screen shots of what you have described above? ian@moneyam.com

hmm forgotten how you do that...remind me

IanT(MoneyAM) - 31 Mar 2006 15:17 - 4621 of 7315

Di,

Press print screen on your keyboard (above the cursor buttons), then in an e mail, just select paste and it should print a picture in there.

I get logged off very frequently. I typed a long post yesterday and hit the 'post message' button. The system asked me to logon and of course the post was not posted and it was lost. This has happened quite a few times now. The same thing happened when sending a MoneyAM Email. I had to re-logon and of course I then had no idea whether the Email had been sent or not. I presume it was not sent though.

Kayak - 01 Apr 2006 14:46 - 4624 of 7315

Me too. OK I'll start keeping a log of logouts, since last time I raised it you-know-spooky-who didn't believe me :-)

chocolat - 01 Apr 2006 15:08 - 4625 of 7315

Same here - I think they're out to get us ;)

Haystack - 01 Apr 2006 15:27 - 4626 of 7315

If it is any help Ican tell you that frequently I read a post and when I post something to the thread maybe less than a minute later it logs me off. That suggests it is unrelated to inactivity.

ravey davy gravy - 01 Apr 2006 15:51 - 4627 of 7315

It's a shame it does not happen to you on advfn haystack, i think hundreds
of posters would gladly like a day where you dont spam their threads.

Haystack - 01 Apr 2006 23:17 - 4628 of 7315

The logoff did it again. I started to send an internal Email just now and typed it in about 3 minutes. When I sent it, it logged me off. Luckily I had copied it to the clipboard.

Kayak - 02 Apr 2006 00:10 - 4629 of 7315

Two logoffs this afternoon, 14.45 and 18.31. The time is of course when I realised I'd been logged off, not the actual logoff time.
