INTERIM RESULTS

QuikTrak Networks Plc

Interim Results

For the six month period ended 30 June 2004

The first six months of this financial year have presented the Company with some
major challenges.

Following the commercialisation of the M25 Network in late 2003, the Company
found that the market demand for a network limited to within the M25 was
incompatible with the operating costs being incurred, in particular the level of
spectrum fees being paid, which were for a national UK telecommunications
licence. Given the intense competition in the sector and the variety of
technologies on offer, it is now clear that a fundamental component of a
successful business plan is the ability to offer UK national coverage. The
establishment of such a network for QuikTrak would require a significant amount
of capital and we have to date not been successful in securing these funds,
despite sustained efforts.

Following a review of the costs incurred in operating the M25 Network, the Board
resolved it was not in shareholders' interests to continue to do so. As a
result, the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, QuikTrak Telecommunications (UK)
Ltd (QTT), was placed into administration on 23 August 2004. The ability of
QuikTrak Networks plc to pursue its broader objectives is not impacted by this
decision.

During the six month period, the Company generated revenue of 157,002 (2003 :
26,025). The loss for the period was 2,589,940, which includes writing off
the value of the net assets in QTT to nil (2003 : loss of 1,471,848).
Included in the consolidated balance sheet at 30 June 2004 are assets of QTT
amounting to 1,142,642, offset by liabilities of QTT of the same amount.

The Company has refocused its operations in order to enable it to exploit the
Intellectual Property Rights of the technology and its unique software in
Europe, the Middle East and the countries of the former USSR through network
sales and licensing arrangements. In order to be able to demonstrate the
technology, the Company has negotiated the right to use a QuikTrak network
currently operating in Australia, at a substantially lower cost than the
operating costs of the M25 network.

In July 2004, the Company raised new equity of 800,202 (net of costs) to
finance this revised strategy.

Progress continues to be made in selling a licence agreement to a prospective
operator in the United Arab Emirates. This is the first example of QuikTrak
utilising the Intellectual Property ownership of its system and is intended to
act as a blueprint for all future licensing deals in Europe, the Middle East and
the countries of the former USSR. Licensing deals are expected to provide a
revenue stream through consultancy fees for preliminary investigations,
technical planning, acquisition of base-stations and software, as well as
through monthly technology, licence and technical support fees per base-station
and transponder deployed.

QuikTrak's secure, accurate and reliable tracking technology has been well
received by the market for a wide range of applications and I remain confident
that with our new approach based on licensing and partnerships we have a solid
base for re-building shareholder value.

Oh yes jeffmack because this stock has been deramped to the extreme and ramrkably the price shoots up 60.00% on no ramping.

Yes its still down from when this thread was started at, but the climate will be chaging now.

Just ask your friends dell314 and dil, how much time they have spent on advfn deramping these, sometimes a quick line that this is going bust during night time.

jeffmack - 15 Sep 2004 16:46 - 463 of 702

They are beastly cads indeed

SueHelen - 15 Sep 2004 16:59 - 464 of 702

Dil's target price of 0.25 pence seems a long way away now. If they can accuse us of ramping then I can accuse them of deramping. Price up on 60.00% on no ramping.

Cybit could be looking over this so called dog. Could they ???

dell314 - 15 Sep 2004 17:05 - 465 of 702

Sue - I'm guessing that the 60% rise today is due to some dodgy tip somewhere FWIW(which I'd class as a ramp, unless they have some astounding new development to report).

Anyway, why would Cybit want a tiny network using a different technology to their own, that has proven that it needs a massive infrastructure investment to be commercially viable.
I really don't see the logic but I guess you'll be using your latest little story to ramp the stock again..

Dil - 15 Sep 2004 17:06 - 466 of 702

Price down from 3p dum dum so where do you get 60% up from or do we all pick our own starting figure ?

Down 95% on the chart above.

What has this lot got that anyone else would want ............ sod all !

Dil - 15 Sep 2004 17:09 - 467 of 702

Lol went down cos of derampers my butt , it went down cos its a pile of crap with less revenue than the CEO pays himself ... wake up and smell the coffee Sue.

Off for a nap now ... toodle pip.

SueHelen - 15 Sep 2004 17:52 - 468 of 702

A dodgy tip was it, what next. I thought we were talking about the Australian Division still. Silly me.

SueHelen - 15 Sep 2004 17:56 - 469 of 702

Oh yeah I got up early today as well, and the price was marked up 10.00% to 1.25-1.50 pence prior to the market opening.

Scripophilist - 15 Sep 2004 18:30 - 470 of 702

Wow what a rise, its now risen from worthless to almost worthless.

shonky - 15 Sep 2004 18:53 - 471 of 702

you people really are quite irritating i dont begrudge you having a view and posting it that is what this place is for but with your constant derision of this stock you may have stopped people from buying and making the 60% profit .
i would of thought rather than mouthing of you would go and hide up a corner somwhere with your head bowed in shame .
just my personal opinion of course .

xmortal - 15 Sep 2004 19:56 - 472 of 702

Well done Sue, don't get irritated plse keep posting and forget Dil the ugly tranny and her kind. They are just crap, the only thing they know is to insult people. I m making money here. Thanks Sue

markp - 15 Sep 2004 21:49 - 473 of 702

Shonky

Absolutely bloody right mate everyone should be entitled to take advantage of this amazing 60% rise. Thats why I mentioned earlier in the thread that you should set a stop loss with this one. Then, if you thought it was going to rise, you could reinvest the balance of your money and make 60%. Great eh!

Unfortunately, our SueH didnt seem to agree and thought this was a deramping ploy (even though you cant short the stock?). So in reality, if I followed her advice, I would be losing money now and maybe thats why I dont follow any of her advice.

Finally, a stock that goes from 4p (15/6/04) to 1.13p (19/8/04) and back up to 2p is not a success story, even in the most deluded of minds.

Hope this goes back to 4p for all those holders who unfortunately bought at that level. At least then you can bail out and buy a worthwhile investment.

Regards.

markp.

SueHelen - 15 Sep 2004 21:53 - 474 of 702

"Hope this goes back to 4p for all those holders who unfortunately bought at that level".

Excuse me markp but the highest price paid by anyone on my advice was Snakey who paid 2.65 pence. See the price at the top of the thread, though at the time it was possible to buy at the mid-price which BigAl is aware of.

Where did you get 4.00 pence from???

Dil - 15 Sep 2004 22:22 - 475 of 702

shonky , why didn't you buy on the original tip at 3p ?

How did anyone stop you buying at the low ?

Take responsibility for your own decisions and grow up.

Sue , the price at the top of the thread is 2p-3p and that is what was available at the time.

xmortal , you were ramping it at higher prices , managed to double up at the bottom did we .... well done , no doubt we'll have every Tom , Dick and Harry claiming the same soon.

Dil - 15 Sep 2004 22:22 - 476 of 702

Still be bust by xmas imo.

Gausie - 15 Sep 2004 22:57 - 477 of 702

I hate it when 'better informed' city shorters close just before the administrators come in. Always happens. Very unfair on the retail trader who then has his money tied up for years whilst the paperwork gets sorted.

Big Al - 16 Sep 2004 12:36 - 478 of 702

SueHelen - my summary is it is still down from where you called the bottom.

My outlook is that it has some way to go to be a buy and even then it's very risky.

BTW, my only reason for not being nhere much is I'm away at work. I've never been one to disappear (even temporarily) if my opinion is wrong. Shame many others can't say the same!!

xmortal - 16 Sep 2004 16:37 - 479 of 702

Dil you stupid ugly tranny, i never ramped the stock, why do't u considered looking at my threads, for you info i got in at 2.25 and topped up at 1.15p. You and your girlie mates jsut do not what to say to defend themselves from your stupid comments you made. I do not understand why you lot post here is you think this share is worth nothing, do you consider guardian angels or something. You should really pay more attention to your make up and dresses you wear, you look and sound lousy.

Dil - 16 Sep 2004 19:10 - 480 of 702

And as predicted xmortal bought at the bottom , what a bloody genius that guy is although his grammar leaves a lot to be desired.

PS exactly how far up Sue's butt is your toungue ???

chocolat - 16 Sep 2004 19:39 - 481 of 702

Dil - you're not ugly are you?
