THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I dare bet Millbarmpot doesn't eat curry either.....

It's too sophisticated for the Labour village people. More of a 'teaspoon and apple sauce home made baby food' kinda guy, IMHO. Hey GF, do they make that in your village? You could buy him a pot if they do. Or maybe even get an old Norah Batty lady to make it for him specially.

And can someone blow his nose for him or even perhaps just a bit of a wipe?

What a leader!

NOT! Sorry, SNOT.

Exit polls on SKY showing 99% of delegates thought it was a great speech. Highest for 30 years.

Chris Carson - 23 Sep 2014 15:55 - 46244 of 81564

Well they would wouldn't they you knobhead!

goldfinger - 23 Sep 2014 15:57 - 46245 of 81564

Haystack - 23 Sep 2014 16:00 - 46246 of 81564

What did ordinary people think of the speech.

Chris Carson - 23 Sep 2014 16:03 - 46249 of 81564

How about back stabbing bastard, we want your brother?

Chris Carson - 23 Sep 2014 16:03 - 46250 of 81564

Or Your Shite!

goldfinger - 23 Sep 2014 16:07 - 46251 of 81564

Ordinary people thought it was brilliant. Just been on Yorkshire TV.

Your poll Hays....... YESTERDAY. Dont try your normal bull shiting performance.

goldfinger - 23 Sep 2014 16:08 - 46252 of 81564

Just accept it Chris we are going to have labour government for the rest of your living life. Its just as simple as that.

Nothing complicated about it.

Chris Carson - 23 Sep 2014 16:10 - 46253 of 81564

In your dreams mate!

goldfinger - 23 Sep 2014 16:33 - 46254 of 81564

No in your dreams mate.

hilary - 23 Sep 2014 16:40 - 46255 of 81564

So let me get this right. Red Ed got dumped by Sky News in favour of a statement by Barry the Kenyan.

And this, apparently, is a summary of what the Sky viewers missed

Even the bits that we did hear were laced with embarrassing mistakes. He talked about meeting two women in a park, and the crowd laughed. Ed responded with bemusement saying “its not that funny”. Surely it should have crossed his mind that bored delegates might have rude thoughts flashing through their heads.

Later in the speech he talked about going to an NHS hospital in Watford at 9pm one night. He said he was particularly delighted to see “nurses coming together”.

Those poor Sky viewers obviously had a lucky escape.

WHO CARES WEVE GOT ONE FOOT IN DOWNING STREET.

Bookies odds firmed Labour now 1/3 to win GE.
Tories 2/1

doodlebug4 - 23 Sep 2014 16:50 - 46257 of 81564

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Labour were also big favourites to win the last General Election.

William Hill

You don't solve problems by just pumping in more and more money. Rob the rich to pay the poor and the immigrants - what a great idea Ed ! Did Ed say anything about immigration?

hilary - 23 Sep 2014 17:36 - 46260 of 81564

Yes he did, Doods. He said he's got Tanker's address, and he's moving a family of 500 Romanians into the flat opposite as soon as he can get a lorry to smuggle them into the country.

Fred1new - 23 Sep 2014 17:40 - 46261 of 81564

It depends where it is pumped.

Into irrigation or down a bottomless pit!

Or £600,000 London properties for the "family".

Take your pit.
