You say the sweetest things, ten four ;)
Still short from reversing 1.7795 - almost back to where I started.

mg - 31 Oct 2005 16:11 - 4628 of 11056

Hope you got all 100 of that drop from 7795 - cheeky little entry point that.

Been day-jobbying so didn't manage to get the move from 7750 down to below 7700 - however I checked in and reckoned that my 1.7675 might not trigger so picked up some long from 7685 and 7695 ....... only looking for a bit of a pull back on a very extended 5 and 10 minute MACD chart.

Hoping nt to give today's points back.

chocolat - 31 Oct 2005 16:15 - 4629 of 11056

Still short for a tidge more :S

chocolat - 31 Oct 2005 16:31 - 4630 of 11056

Ok I'm with you at 1.7679 - stop firmly in and I might get some work done ;)

hilary - 31 Oct 2005 16:35 - 4631 of 11056

Well I'm inclined to agree with you two, but it would be against my principles as I haven't been stopped from my short yet so I think I'll go and watch Ally McBeal instead.

chocolat - 31 Oct 2005 16:37 - 4632 of 11056

Must admit I was looking for 50s Hils
but heyy, spot on ten four ;)

mg - 31 Oct 2005 16:40 - 4633 of 11056

Oooooooooooh chocciepops - you squeeeeeezed some bloody good points out of that short - brilliant stuff. I believe that means the award of the "Balls of Steel Award" - do you have anywhere you can display it/them ??

hilary - 31 Oct 2005 16:47 - 4634 of 11056

Choccy,

I don't have a cable target although I've got my eye on around 1.1930 on Euro Dollar as support. Doesn't look as though she'll see that level on this leg down though. There's always manana I suppose.

Looks like cable's bottomed now for today. A few more pips up and I'll be out.

chocolat - 31 Oct 2005 17:09 - 4635 of 11056

Can't say I'm comfortable long for long, Hils.

I've just the place, ten four - next to my duck collection.

chocolat - 31 Oct 2005 21:46 - 4636 of 11056

Fed rate hike a foregone conclusion

chocolat - 01 Nov 2005 08:13 - 4637 of 11056

I have around 1.7750 target - what say you ten four?

mg - 01 Nov 2005 08:20 - 4638 of 11056

chocs
That would be a good target but I've got to get some work done before this afternoon - then off on my travels for the next few days. So I've closed out @ 1.7720 - for +25, +35 = +60 which is another nice positive close. Need to keep this up. 60 to 70 points a day (every day) will definitely make mg a happy boy.

BTW my little lines would give a bit more than 7750 - more like 7770 actually.

Keep those Steel Balls swinging ;)

Tenfore

mg - 01 Nov 2005 19:43 - 4639 of 11056

So much for FED raising rates - Cable hardly flickered - talk about anticipation - I thought I was the only one who traded the trend a day before it happened :)

Looks as if my open long position is active - from 1.7615. Think I'll leave it with a 50 point stop - if that one goes I've got another one set to trigger at 1.7520.

C y'all the week after next - day jobbing for a change ;(

chocolat - 01 Nov 2005 19:50 - 4640 of 11056

Hey snaperoonie ten four. Reversed long there this afternoon. Got home just after 7 and forgot the decorator was coming - only just managed to have a look!

Btw - missed 1.7720 this morning as I got called away straight after posting. Gave it up at 1.7695 after the umpteenth try to get above 1.77.

Nice one ;)

chocolat - 02 Nov 2005 12:00 - 4641 of 11056

Been trading cable up and down in its current little downtrend channel. But I have a shallow support line along the lows from 12 October that crossed through the channel yesterday afternoon. Currently long at 1.7628. It's got to break out one way or the other soon :S

chocolat - 02 Nov 2005 16:05 - 4642 of 11056

Yip - that's a breakout :)

mg - 03 Nov 2005 07:44 - 4643 of 11056

Just a quickie to say that as well as my 1.7615 long opening yesterday I left another to open if it reached 17630 - and it did :)

Closed them last night when I got in @ 1.7760 :)))))))))))

Might take a look later this afternoon - off up to Liverpool - so must dash

iqubal - 03 Nov 2005 11:34 - 4644 of 11056

Is ther any way we can prevent the acidic forex fairy character from appearing every time we open this thread

hilary - 03 Nov 2005 12:42 - 4645 of 11056

I've removed the Fairy just for you, iqubal, and I'll now look forwards to reading your future contributions on this thread.

MightyMicro - 03 Nov 2005 16:51 - 4646 of 11056

Hil: Oi! Wot no fairy! Next thing we know, Chelsea will lose to some Spanish outfit.

Iqubal -- there is an alternative solution to your problem -- the Fairy only appears to those using Internet Explorer -- those using FireFox or Opera browsers won't see him.
