Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Stony,

Thanks for pointing this out - I will need to get James to take a look at this.

I am using a Beta version of MS Internet Explorer (version 7). It does a few strange things with the BB pages on Money AM. You might like to try it before it is released. It loses the ends of BB pages occasionally and sometimes overlaps the images of the text onto the buttons at the bottom. It doesn't do it on other BBs.

Haystack,

Thanks for that - we will test it before it is released.

Problems with my watchlist....all the old epics which I have removed from the list over the last few months have reappeared as by magic :)....just had to remove them all again...weird!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 05 Apr 2006 16:21 - 4637 of 7315

0rient, that is strange. Apologies for the inconvenience - I will get the tech guys to take a look to see if they can work out what caused this,

IanT,

Can you please correct the chart of GAL, Galantas Gold, which floted on AIM on 31.03.06?

Float price was 10p, not the 7 showing on the chart!

TIA.

Andy,

I will get James to take a look, but it may require a reload overnight.

Thanks Ian :)

Andy - 05 Apr 2006 17:54 - 4641 of 7315

Thanks IAn,

I want to put the chart in the thread header, and it would look like one disasterous stock if I put the current one in!

Andy - 06 Apr 2006 13:22 - 4642 of 7315

IanT,

Sorry but this chart is still wrong, the float was done around 10p, and certainly not 7!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Apr 2006 13:31 - 4643 of 7315

Andy,

James is aware of this - and is looking to resolve it with data update to night

Apologies for the delay,

Ian

Andy - 06 Apr 2006 19:21 - 4644 of 7315

IanT,

No problem, just a reminder, many thanks for your prompt response!

Is that the same James from 'over the road'?

Haystack - 06 Apr 2006 21:40 - 4645 of 7315

I have a long standing problem to do with the BB. I read a thread up to the last post. The next time I come in it may go to the next post. At other times it goes back 10, 20 or more posts when displaying the thread. Presumably you keep a record of what post I have read up to.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2006 07:26 - 4646 of 7315

Haystack,

That is very strange - I will see if I can reproduce it and I will also speak to Jonathan about it,

Any reason why I often get 'Page Not Found' when I click on a thread. I then have to click refresh to get back to Moneyam. The time it takes for pages to open is also so slow sometimes I could go and make a coffee before the page has fully downloaded?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2006 14:20 - 4648 of 7315

harlosh,
I cannot replicate that at this end - is it any particular thread thread you are talking about or all of them as they seem fine here - can you try a restart on your browser, and let me know if things improve/

Priscilla - 07 Apr 2006 14:27 - 4649 of 7315

I know Shell went through the name/Epic change and we moved from SHEL to RDSB, but is there any way the charts could be adapted to incorporate the history, please? Currently 2005 is as far back as I can go on AM charts. Thanks.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2006 14:28 - 4650 of 7315

Priscilla,

I will have a word with James to see if he can work some of his magic.

Ian

Harlosh - 07 Apr 2006 14:43 - 4651 of 7315

Ian, don't think it is any particular thread but I'll take more notice if it happens again and let you know. The slowness of the site is more of a problem though.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Apr 2006 14:45 - 4652 of 7315

Harlosh,

It does seem pretty responsive here - however, I will keep an eye on things.
