THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

fred sidles and slithers out of the door yet again when asked whether he is for or against uk's involvement vs isis, while derogatorily pretending that he has indeed cast his vote - but then of course "as a matter of principle" he never does

Fred1new - 25 Sep 2014 08:53 - 46377 of 81564

Manuel.

You are becoming more and more like and intellectual dwarf.

Go and stroke you leader's new pussy!

Fred1new - 25 Sep 2014 08:55 - 46378 of 81564

Or ask him to tell you what to do:

But ask him why he is becoming more and more like a tainted ham actor!

cynic - 25 Sep 2014 08:58 - 46379 of 81564

is that so ..... insult so becomes you, but it carries little weight .... nor does it disguise that you fail, time after time after time, to answer a straight question, as in this instance

anyway, for this and any other "intellectual dwarfs" please tell us yes or no whether or not you would support uk joining the amis in the airstrikes against isis in iraq

GF was crowing a couple of days ago that Miliband would be giving a storming speech without the aid of notes. How the mighty have fallen. His tour de force resulting in him leaving out immigration, the deficit and the economy due to a lapse in memory.

cynic - 25 Sep 2014 09:22 - 46381 of 81564

and as i say to young sticky often enough, wait for the ballot before you start crowing

Fred1new - 25 Sep 2014 09:37 - 46382 of 81564

Manuel,

I wasn't insulting you it was meant as praise.

ExecLine - 25 Sep 2014 09:43 - 46383 of 81564

I thought the term was 'wing it'?

As in Milirubberband winged it with his speech but forgot the important bits and did get to kiss his wife.

goldfinger - 25 Sep 2014 09:57 - 46384 of 81564

errrrrrrrr Hays and Cynic, short memory boys, the chuckle brothers of Money am........ you see its not what the right wing Tory press think that counts its what the electorate think that matters they are the ones who will be voting.

Labour Party's tax and benefit proposals a hit with voters
by William Jordan in Front Page and Politics
Wed September 24, 2014 9:55 a.m. BST

YouGov finds support for several new Labour policies across the political spectrum A day after Labour leader Ed Miliband’s 68-minute speech, many commentators have turned their attention he didn’t mention, rather than what he did. However, Labour did propose a number of new policies at the conference that will likely ...

HAYS how embarrassing for Camoron to be caught talking about his private phone calls with the Queen. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Dearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Showing off was the arrogant toff.

But once again he was outed.

cynic - 25 Sep 2014 10:05 - 46387 of 81564

errrrrrrr sticky, try reading what i wrote for a change! :-)

by the way, i certainly think this so-called "mansion tax" is just spiteful and clearly aimed at those in the south where labour hold few if any seats and where well-located properties, through happenstance, are significantly more expensive that almost anywhere else in the country

MaxK - 25 Sep 2014 10:13 - 46388 of 81564

Will MP's get the mansion tax paid from expenses?

2517GEORGE - 25 Sep 2014 10:13 - 46389 of 81564

If the amnesiac gets in next May then stand by to welcome the hordes of council staff into your homes to reassess your council tax.

Ill be hit but Im not bothered. Get your purse out Cyners and stop being a skin flint.

goldfinger - 25 Sep 2014 10:16 - 46391 of 81564

Spitefull errrrrr what about the BEDROOM TAX you NUMPTY of course its political.

cynic - 25 Sep 2014 10:17 - 46392 of 81564

my own house is probably a bit borderline, but my comment remains
you can also bet this tax, if enacted, will be applied like stamp duty rather than income tax

Haystack - 25 Sep 2014 10:18 - 46393 of 81564

Don't forget it was Labour that invented the bedroom tax!

goldfinger - 25 Sep 2014 10:18 - 46394 of 81564

Plus we'l nab a decent take off the rich foreigners down south using housing as investments.
