TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 05 Aug 2004 13:18

Hello.

Since the switch over we have had a few teething issues, so to save you reading all the posts on this thread, ill list the ones that have been found, and when they have been fixed, cross them out. If things are not working despite being 'fixed', ill put them back on the list.

MoneyAM Website
Closing bid/offer prices skewed
Charts: OHLC not being saved, breaking candle sticks.
Market Scan issues.

If there is any that I have missed, please let us know.

The INDU streaming graph is static. It does show the price/line etc, but no movement. All other streaming charts are OK like FTSE 100. I have done several deletes of temp internet files and refreshes but still no joy.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 17 Aug 2004 16:04 - 467 of 616

Yoyo,

This problem was noted last week at the top of the page, we hope to have a fix in place soon. we are currently working on the close prices problem.

CWV CMS Webview shows 6.25p in stockwatch and close 6.25p after close it was correct in portfolio then just before 5pm dropped to 5.75 inportfolio but still correct in stockwatch. Graeme

SueHelen - 17 Aug 2004 17:09 - 472 of 616

Hi TulletJ,

Some progress : the percentage gain or loss for the day is right and the mid-column is right now as well.

Though the bid & offer prices are still incorrect.

teletigger - 17 Aug 2004 18:01 - 473 of 616

Tullett......Have I caught you just before knocking of time..(not including your contract on Ian of course)...(oops).....good...whats going on with these B/S/% figures, They're all over the place. No, I'm not going to quote you epics....75% on my stockwatch are wrong. 100% if I could be arsed to figure it. This is not professional. There are people out there (not me..yet) paying top dollar for this service and yes, you are quick to address problems, very consumer friendly, quick to apologise, but at the end of the day.....service is king. Competition must not be there at the moment. These problems must be addressed in hours not weeks, or I as a professional, (i.e....my livlihood,(i.e. food in my childrens mouths)) would be forced to seek more reliable providers.
I would like to say that, in my opinion, the input of your subscribers far exceeds (in professional terms) the output of the company as a whole. This statement, in no way, reflects any individual performances from any of your staff.
If I have offended anyone with these comments, I sincerely apologise.

MoneyAm is a top notch company,(in It's field), but I see sentiment getting in the way of excellence.
Can do better never won the "Victor Ludorum". Never be afraid to upset people who don't agree with your "ethic".
After a week .....Mr nice guy wears off....where's my "effing money" kicks in.

I'll get my coat.
regards

Did I really write that last post?.....gawd

teletigger - 17 Aug 2004 18:20 - 475 of 616

Well not to put to fine a point on it....right now, the home page is showing AIM down 629 pts. Now, personally, I haven't jumped off the Rama 1V bridge, but am waiting to console those poor, (lovely, on the most part) widows, of the poor souls who took your postings to heart. (mugs)
I'll console myself with the insurance proceeds. :-))
regards

Further TulletJ,

There are no problems anymore with the SETS traded stocks. They are now reflecting the correct bid and offer prices at close, along with the correct percentage gain or loss for the day. In addition, the mid-column is correct as well.

You only need to correct the bid & offer prices on the aim stocks now.

PS. The candlesticks for each day are still not being updated, and the candlesticks prior to them days have all but changed. The indicators such as MACD are getting updated now for each trading day.

GRAEME.ALEXANDER - 17 Aug 2004 18:28 - 477 of 616

re post 470. same problem with PMD Profile media.
out of intrest wich price is correct. Graeme.
edit add PXC Pippex to that list.

SueHelen - 17 Aug 2004 20:23 - 480 of 616

Hi Bullshare,

Re : my post applies to aim stocks on which the bid & offer prices are incorrect for the following that are on my stockwatch (there may be more) :

MDW closed at 6.0-7.0 pence but is showing as 5.50-7.00 pence

CWV closed at 6.0-6.5 pence but is showing as 5.00-6.50 pence

QTR closed at 1.0-1.75 pence but is showing as 1.00-3.00 pence

NML closed at 5.00-6.00 pence but is showing as 5.00-6.50 pence

PMD closed at 1.50-1.70 pence but is showing as 1.20-1.70 pence

CFP closed at 0.70-0.80 pence but is showing as 0.60-0.80 pence

WHOG closed at 1.20-1.25 pence but is showing as 1.10-1.60 pence

TTL closed at 0.67-0.75 pence but is showing as 0.65-0.95 pence

SIP closed at 1.25-1.75 pence but is showing as 1.25-2.25 pence

TRT closed at 44.0-46.0 pence but is showing as 43.00-46.00 pence

PCI closed at 13.5-14.0 pence but is showing as 13.50-14.50 pence

MLT closed at 3.0-3.5 pence but is showing as 2.5-3.5 pence

RTD closed at 14.75-15.0 pence but is showing as 14.25-15.25 pence

RDG closed at 55.0-60.0 pence but is showing as 55.0-65.0 pence

CDN closed at 4.75-5.0 pence but is showing as 4.00-5.00 pence

AFG closed at 3.5-4.5 pence but is showing as 3.50-5.00 pence

Look at the close prices column on those stocks which is correct, just the bid and offer is incorrect. The Chg and Mid columns are correct for all stocks.

teletigger,

The buys/sells/unknowns will be fixed in an update to be installed tomorrow (not yet available to me), I am also looking at the candlestick problems too, and hope to have them resolved as soon as possible.
