Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

All the papers except the Mirror loved Cameron's speech. Maybe the Conservatives will be +5 soon!

GF.
When one looks back at this period of government I think the comments made here will summate it:

Martin Rowson: drawing ‘the vilest government of my lifetime’
The Guardian cartoonist can’t stand the coalition – but Cameron, Clegg and Osborne are a gift for the satirist. Here he chooses his favourite strips from his new book

John Lewis boss has said that France is finished and investors should get their money out quickly. That is what happens with a socialist government.

Go on Hays try your best but old cock but it just isnt good enough.
People have seen through camorons lies once again and the use of his late son Ivan to promote Tory NHS Policy is despicable, its the lowest of the low.
The figures you have posted in the Poll from yesterday would still give an overall Labour government, it was debated last night on the Andrew Neal show.
The Tories need at least a 2 point lead.
So dream on Hays, dream on.

They will be well ahead soon. Ed Milibland is Liemore's ticking time bomb. He seems to be imploding at the moment.

If you hate Cameron’s treatment of the NHS and disability benefit claimants, share this

Following on from today’s article about David Cameron’s shameless use of his late son to score political points on the NHS and disability benefits, the thought occurred that a 1,500-word article might be a little much for some busy people to take on board. Here’s an image that will hopefully get the point across far more quickly. Please feel free to share it anywhere you feel it may do some good.

Haze.
Its seems to me, that part of the problem with said "democracy" in this country is that the backers of the tory party grease the palms of the right wing press and their ownership, who mutually grease the palms of the tory party. who now seem to many as a party of confidence tricksters as can be seen by the content of Cameron's conference speech.
Both sides in that relationship support one another's propaganda and appeal to the lowest denominators in attempts to maintain their own minority positions for their own advantages, while be aware of, bit indifferent to the needs of the the "weakest" least fortunate in society.
(Breeding vultures comes to mind.)
------
Once again I suggest the previous comment is appropriate:
"‘Etonians,’ said Fraser, ‘are the ultimate pragmatists, totally free of any ideology. Other than the means of getting and gaining power, no conspicuous motives inspire them. It’s not clear that Etonian politicians really believe in much except themselves.’!
=====
(It could be said to be a governing group without any real core morality, that is to say an amoral self advantaging group.)
However, I think the general public is becoming more aware and more cynical of the present variety of government and will be interested to see the turn out at the next bye-elections elections.
Perhaps, Farage is doing the voters a favour.

I thought the "lunacy" was due to the inbreeding of families. Such as happens in the tory party.
