Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

If the Conservatives get say 5 points ahead soon, Milibland will be a mess. Who will replace him if he implodes and has a nervous breakdown.

That's a pretty terrible assessment of the Labour leader and his poor performance at the conference by Prescott.

Haze,
From your postings some would think you are alreadhy suffering the consequence of a nervous breakdown, at the next election your party and iconic leader are consigned to the dustbin, Churchill's Black dog will be back to bite you!

Dreams,
Strange you pick an image of somebody, that some think, criminally cheated the Tax man and the country of an awful lot of money.
That opinion was not upheld by the jury!
But I see the appeal for you and he would for many make a suitable leader for the present party of tory CON artists.

Strange that someone who doesn't bother to vote in a General Election spends so much time telling others who they should or shouldn't vote for ?

Read the following article and one may be able to see why the CONs are going to lose the next G.E.
I think possibly the Lib Dems may not lose the number of seats that many have forecast and with a little bit of luck the tories will lose more:

Vince Cable slams excessive Conservative cuts on working poor
Lib Dem business secretary says Tories are planning punitive cuts that go 'far beyond' what is needed to cut deficit

Shadow education secretary retaliates after being singled out for 'highly personalised' attack in PM's conference speech

I must admit I misread this as David Cameron being "a PR rent boy", which I suppose some of his financial backers may think him.

you misunderstand aldo; it is a matter of principle that fred won't vote but he feels he has an absolute obligation to tell everyone else what a bunch of arseholes they are etc etc
anyway, sticky, fred, hays etc al can gibber and gibber as much as they like, but those who actually have a better idea what they're talking about have long been saying that it's all too close to call, and it is a view with which i too have long concurred

Apart from saying it's too close to call, there is also a view that Labour will lose a lot of seats in Scotland to the SNP.

Certainly there are a lot of Scots who feel betrayed by the Labour party for trying so hard to maintain the Union. That will result in a backlash, but it is difficult to tell the extent.

I agree that the GE is far too close to call and there will likely be a coalition again (not involving UKIP). However, there is a slight momentum towards the Tories at present. UKIP is still the limiting factor in the parties' ambitions. Hopefully that may change a bit closer to the day.
