Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

GF,
I agree with you.
I have recently seen the Form for DLA (now called personal independence payment)
4,444 words, 7 pages font size 10 pt to complete the blank sections.
plus there's a 10 page doc to read as well.
===============
It is b. ridiculous.
The "forms" are aimed at a one of the groups in society contain the some of the most "defenceless" and needy in society.
Many of those incapable of answering the forms accurately and have little or no support.
It is designed by an incompetent uncaring administration under the direction of IDS and a government which will leave a stench behind it.

Absolutely Fred, IDS and his department are going out of their way to make all welfare claim forms nye on possible for a lot of disadvantaged people to fill in.
They also know they have cut funding to voluntary groups eg, CAB where people could go to get help and also the DSS visiting team is now nearly extinct.
This is the nastiest government I can remember by a long way.
They just look after the very very rich and F the rest.

Dodgy Dave done yet again for Lying about debt by the boss of the UK Statistics Authority, Sir Andrew Dilnot.
AND
Vince C proves he was lying to the country on the deficit.
Last weeks Tory Party congress was just one BIG LIE and the public have fallen for it.
Lets hope by the GE they have seen through this Tory Scum.

Hays 2% is not big enough to give the Tories an outright victory. They would again need Lib Dems, but I think this time Clegg would opt to go with Labour.

EXEC the last thing the Tories want to see is support for UKIP strengthening.
Pollsters have said that if UKIP get 9% of the vote at the GE it will let labour into power.

The Mansion Tax will go down well with the voters outside London, who see the Tories more and more like London based self interested mobsters.
Even though the tory press are trying to fracture the Labour party a leadership, it is doubtful that they will be successful and probably backfire on the tories, who are far more fragmented in their policies and direction.
The Redwoods, the Cashs, the Clarkes, Carlesses the god knows what Camerons the Cruellas and of course their icon IDSs. are just on the surface.
Also, Aschroft and his ilk, swim below the surface.
The tory party is more represented nowadays by the Brookes (what did he think was possible from tory researchers) and see Cameron becoming more and more as an incompetent liar.

downside of that is that there would be a complete disincentive to sell, thus depressing the housing market from all angles
