Wigmore is a great growth stock so get in early! (WGT)

Prophet - 02 Aug 2003 18:15

Wigmore is now turning a profit. A great little support services company that looks as if it is going to shine over the next few years. IMHO Any thoughts appreciated.

Prophet - 20 Mar 2004 21:41 - 47 of 69

A relatively small contract but for Blanchards which is encouraging. The Local Authority market is huge and once in you stand a good chance of contract renewal and other tenders. I think these issues are more important than the actual monetary value of this one. More could certainly follow. IMHO

100k buy just gone through. Wonder if we will see further upturn on volume shortly?

kennyjordan - 27 Mar 2004 12:08 - 49 of 69

Tuck these away because they should do well over the next 3 years - taking any short term profit on the results may prove foolish.

I expect them to continue to buy other unquoted companies in the next 3 years copying the Mears approach - and share price gain.

Small contract but bodes well for expanding customer base.

Prophet - 02 Apr 2004 20:41 - 52 of 69

Well results out on Tuesday. The biggest day in WGT's devlopment as a growth company yet. If the results impress the price must be ready move up. On the other hand there has ben a steady stream of sellers. My money is on WGT proving us right.

kennyjordan - 03 Apr 2004 14:21 - 53 of 69

I agree the results AND outlook statement are crutial to attracting some investment interest.

There are lots of rumours about contract wins so lets hope the statment is positive and attracts some institutional buying.

Prophet - 06 Apr 2004 08:21 - 54 of 69

Well the results point to a good future.

Prophet - 07 Apr 2004 08:20 - 55 of 69

Nice move upwards first thing.

skyhigh - 28 May 2004 15:26 - 56 of 69

Wigmore suspended this afternoon.
To be lifted next Wed 5th June. but... Wed is 2nd June...anyway, must be a big aquisition due and massive placing of shares to fund it. etc.. Will be interesting to see what it's all about !
Anyone have any views ? :)

sagem - 30 May 2004 08:01 - 58 of 69

It is rumoured that Wigmore Group are buying another company together with a rights issue. I dont think they have run out of cash as suggested by some investors, they could have raised a lot more cash when they raised the 495,000 if they wanted to so that it not the issue.
Does anybody have other reasons.

skyhigh - 03 Jun 2004 11:14 - 59 of 69

Well, still nothing announced... perhaps they did mean the 5th June afterall ? on a Saturday?

This is turning out to be a real cliffhanger ! Will they be;
1)Reversing into a much a larger and successful company and the share price rockets ?
2)taking over another company but will need lots of further funding for it - share price plummets ?
3)Wigmore being taken over ? share price ?
4) or company gones or is going big tits up and folds ? share price disappears ?

Which is it going to be ?....watch this space ! IMHO, DYOR, PYO. :)

skyhigh - 04 Jun 2004 13:17 - 60 of 69

Well, surprise surprise ! It was option 4 ! :-(
Gone tits up in a big way. Share price almost disappeared. Good time to buy (IMHO) How long is it going to take to get back to 3p ?

Anyone with any views?

Zombie Boy - 04 Jun 2004 19:52 - 61 of 69

This was on my watch list!!!!!!!!!! by the grace of god!!

sutomb - 06 Jun 2004 07:37 - 62 of 69

How the heck does the CEO keep his Job after a shambles like this - shareholders need a someone who knows what he is doing. The PR for Wigmore was great - pity it was not true!

sagem - 07 Jun 2004 11:13 - 63 of 69

Wigmore Group is now a prime bid target by possibly ROK BUILDERS the 12 million order book would be the attraction plus turning the company round........a doddle to ROK, much more of a bid prospect than a recovery stock.Stock building is already going on so stand by for the fireworks.

gordon geko - 07 Jun 2004 12:16 - 64 of 69

i smell a rat here does anyone else ????

ehall - 07 Jun 2004 13:38 - 65 of 69

I smell an appaling management team who should all be sacked. they have continuously runied shareholder value and are not worthy of their jobs, they should all be dismissed. Hope ROK does take it over for the average employee as Rok are a very good firm, they should fire the existing managers and board though!

sagem - 07 Jun 2004 14:44 - 66 of 69

Down another 33% what a bag of worms some very big mistakes have been made.
ROK PLEASE JUST BUY THEM OUT.
