Bought this over 3 years topping up whenever i could, days like today can be unsettling but have no doubt that long term this is a good prospect. This company is in a strong position with good products.More importantly products that are in demand by major companies. As ever DYOR.

Stanelco plc ('Stanelco')
Agreement signed with Premier Technology. Inc.
Stanelco plc, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, is pleased to
announce that it has entered into a binding agreement with Premier Technology
Inc., (
www.premiertechnology.cc),
a leading US engineering and support company
which will enable rapid roll out and adoption of Stanelco's revolutionary
GREENSEAL tray-lidding technology in a number of markets in North America.
Premier Technology (Premier) has agreed to commit its rapid response engineering
capabilities which cover the United States, Canada and Mexico, to the
retro-fitting of GREENSEAL technology at user sites in those territories.
Premier will apply its resources to the non RF aspects of retro fitting of
traylidding and thermoforming machines with GREENSEAL technology.
Premier is sending a contingent of engineers to Stanelco for an extended period
of training and familiarisation. It is anticipated that Premier will be ready to
support a roll out of Stanelco's GREENSEAL technology across North America
within three months.
Whilst Stanelco is yet to sign licence agreements for its GREENSEAL technology
in North America, the agreement with Premier means that Stanelco will soon be in
a position to fulfil the roll out of the technology following the award of a
contract from potential customers in the region without significantly increasing
its own infrastructure. Stanelco is currently concentrating on rolling out the
technology in the UK and Ireland in support of its recently announced agreement
with ASDA Stores.
Premier will receive a minority interest in Stanelco's conversion and licence
fees for each machine it helps to retrofit and support.
Ian Balchin, CEO of Stanelco plc said:
'This agreement forms part of a strategic roll out programme that Stanelco is
developing in order to attain simultaneous retrofitting in different
territories. The alliance with Premier Technology will enable us to have
customers' machines, throughout North America, prepared for RF engineers to
attach the revolutionary GREENSEAL technology. The agreement also covers repairs
and maintenance by Premier. Premier has a pool of in excess of 150 engineers
that can be called upon at any given time. This agreement substantially enhances
our capacity to achieve an accelerated roll out. We anticipate further such
alliances in the near future. We are delighted that a company of Premiers'
stature is as excited about this technology as we are.'
Mike Nelson, Vice President of Operations for Premier Technology said:
'We are delighted to be involved with this exciting technology and look forward
to a rapid expansion of our capabilities to meet the needs of this project.'

Some people seem to forget the possibilites for SEO in North America and also Europe. Asda is not the begining and the end of SEO. Im sure we will see a constant flow of news over the coming months.

Is there much profit taking going on that would explain the drop of 7p in the last few days?

most of the time, these type of companies are in fact trading at a massive premium to their financials.....but the reason for that, is that we all are in because we believe that SEO will in fact grow to a point where today's price will be seen to be quite small........so ek is taking the 'current financials' angle, and most of us are taking the 'future probable/potential growth' angle.
who cares if he shorts......we can then buy in at crazy low prices, so that when we are told that all of those US engineers are going to be retrofitting ONE more machine, the price will rocket back to the sky again......hahaha

sequester has set up an alternative BB. Let's hope he and II stick to that BB and leave this one alone. Support looks to be 25p today.

to early to say that for sure, jacks. i really do not understand the panic. this time last week we were sub 23p. rumours got the price high, all very exciting, but we got the news we had been waiting for, the asda deal has started. the price is doing what it has done after every spurt , it retracts, finds a new level and ticks along until the next rns. no surprise. time to wait and see where it settles and to wait for the next rns.

Right Bosley. This is just the "buy on the rumour, sell on the news" theory. There hasn't been any mention about the bio-degradability aspect recently. What's happened?

the alternative bb is a great idea. people with a negative take on seo now have a place and , like jacks said, maybe this bb can get back to the pleasant atmosphere it used to have.

Still interesting B/S 50/46. (I know the argument about mid price.) The other of note to me is still the larger size of big buys. My guess is the smaller holders are satisfied with short term gain while the long term buyers are confident of future. Just note I bought these shares at 4.75 and rights at three and a few times following this 7.75 and14.75p . Probably a long term holder.
Also think the MMS are playing this share unless they want a few for an institution. They probably looking for a few 2mill blocks, interesting after the bell to-day and when the Dow opens.
