MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

not sure that i wish to, but can MDX be shorted?

Big Al - 01 Dec 2008 16:48 - 4709 of 8631

You're not wrong G. Pretty soon you'll be as correct as others. ;-)))))

Don't see why not, cynic. I haven't for some time. ;-0

I had one trade - wee short UKX mid afternoon. Almost enough to treat the whole family to a chip supper.

Tabatha gonna be microwaving an out of date M&S pizza, I suspect. LOL!

Big Al - 01 Dec 2008 16:50 - 4710 of 8631

Big Al - 01 Dec 2008 17:13 - 4715 of 8631

I've missed 375 posts across the road. No need to read them all, though.

Which one's Tabatha? ;-)

I tghought the following was one of the best posts this week over the road:

They may have another 17m shares, but look at what the other 4m got them. It is increasingly difficult for companies to raise cash, especially those who need it for "running costs". MDX is in a very tricky situation. They obviously require funding quickly simply to carry on. They are flogging off assets and the directors are selling shares just to keep the thing afloat.

This is extremely serious and I don't think many on here appreciate the obvious dire straits they are in.

Whatever the potential investors feel the products are worth, it is irrelevant if they are burning reserves at such a high rate. Banks simply are not in a position these days to give out the handouts they could last year, or even earlier this year. The fact the KKs had to dump 20% of their holding to raise such a miniscule amount says it all. They've been searching for funding for a couple of months and nothing has happened.

If the (pretty arrogant) investors had allowed the Directors to raise cash earlier, then this could all have been avoided.

The fact is this is one outfit in serious danger of going bust IMO. They're not the only ones. Finance is not available to high risk companies listed on AIM with "jam tommorrow" products.

Sorry
Al

But being I'm the only one who hasn't filtered you Al it'll be lost on them.

Dil - 01 Dec 2008 21:07 - 4723 of 8631

Just read the first 280 posts jkd (about 5 months worth). Took less than 15 minutes , a bit more sensible discussion then ... even scotty was quite polite.

Take a look at post 200 , tabby claimed to have his whole portfolio on it ... then buys some more a couple of weeks later !!!

Tabby you been flogging a few on the way down or adding more money to the portfolio to buy more and the other stuff you got ?

Dil - 01 Dec 2008 21:08 - 4724 of 8631

tabasco - 30 Apr 2008 12:22 - 200 of 4722

Can somebody tell me why mdx have dropped so dramatically on the news that Aquisitek were out of the running. Good news for the company I would have thought, and good news for me. The stock is so cheap my whole portfolio is on. I cannot believe anybody would consider a sell. Still thanks to them all. It will give me another big payday in a company that is rock solid. As an ex. Bookmaker I would lay longgggggg odds on, for a rapid 25% correction. I have been in and out of the stock since it was 27p and it has been lucky for me, but this looks like the best chance to date. The delayed prelim. results are hinted to be good. Some of you lads that are far more knowledgeable than me might have a better handle on the situation. This stock is crazy!!!

Dil - 01 Dec 2008 21:09 - 4725 of 8631

Last but one sentence was spot on though tabby :-)

ptholden - 01 Dec 2008 22:13 - 4726 of 8631

I like this one :-)

hondaman - 17 Jan 2008 13:50 - 96 of 4725
have all of the idiot sellers cleared yet?

Seems the 'idiots' probably did quite well.

Big Al - 01 Dec 2008 23:18 - 4727 of 8631

Dil - that's brilliant. Right again, Tabatha twitchit. Feckwit!!!!!!!!!!! The whole nine yards? How bloody stupid can one individual be?

ROFLMAO, ROFLMAO, ROFLMAO!

You were right on the post, Dil. Not one answer whilst they all close their ears and eyes, and plot to take over a company worth almost tuppence ha'penny. LOL!
