If they stop serving at 3 as S87 says, then perhaps meet at 12, what do you think?

>W/E Folk Festival take shape near us....not seen any Brewery lorries arrive yet...
Perhaps they're (the brewery lorries) a bit like some West Mids busses i.e. none come along for a while then suddenly a convoy of 'em arrives .....(except on Sunday when none arrive at all) !
I see the local pub, The Woodman Inn will be the bar for this years festival.... and that events will also be staged in the pubs in the town centre ...

The Woodman, The Boat House Inn (On the River), The Wheatsheaf (Frankwell) and The Anchor are listed as "Folk & Session Friendly"
The Bird In Hand and The Wheatsheaf (High Street ) have organised Sessions. New venue this year so hope things go smoothly.

Stan, if you are meeting Chris at Digbeth before going to the Pub, may be worth informing retiredmum on the other board. She may like to tag along. Probably be able to pick all of you up, as it is on my way.

I think the platter is the latter!!
Meet preferably outside and I can just stop and put you all in the boot on the way to the Barton Arms.
If there are more than twenty I will bring the RV.

Fred.... All becomes clear now. Last time I was down that way (Digbeth) a few weeks ago, an unmarked police car blocked off a car in the middle of the road then two marked patrol cars came screaming up behind to block wanted vehicle in. Quite well executed. Guess they've had plenty of practice in Digbeth.
