Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

The political pundits are a waste of time.
What are the real experts (the bookies) saying?

How long can the cons put off having the Reckless by election?
I would think the longer they put it off the better the chances for UKIP to dig in!
It could be suggested that it may have political advantages for Labour for UKIP have a large majority, even at the expense of labour itself, as long as the majority of defectors are from the tories to UKIP and show the way for those disgruntled tories to default the same way.

Haze, the Scots may return 20+SNP Mps at the next election.
But with whom would they vote in line with over any important issues.
It is laughable to think that such a result would benefit the Cons in the slightest.

Commenting on last night's by-election results, Frank Field Labour MP said:
'If last night's vote heralds the start of UKIP's serious assault into Labour's neglected core vote, all bets are off for safer, let alone marginal seats at the next election.'

There is major meeting for Labour MPs due. Some key Labour policy makers suggest it is going to be a blood bath with Milibland losing the blood.

Some Labour comments today
Senior Lab MP: "Where our problem lies is leadership. Wherever you go you hear "It's your leader." Monday PLP (Parliamentary Labour Party) "could be absolute bloodbath."
Another Lab MP: "Anyone who thinks they can take comfort from Heywood + M needs their head examined." Result "awful...terrible."
Chief Whip Rosie Winterton has a busy weekend ahead. This is going to get quite nasty.

I think although the Kipper party and the Con party would prefer bar room brawls, Ed is playing the Giuoco Pianissimo. Keeping quiet, letting the opposition over reach itself and self destruct.
He can watch and wait for another 6 months, but I bet his feet are pedaling like hell below the surface.
Who would have bet that in 2010, he and labour would have been in such a strong position as they are at present.
Close, but the bookies are on Ed's side.
(The quiet game.)

Mind I suppose Cameron will be able to spend his future time riding on the back of a horse borrowed from Rebecca.
He must be missing his old friends.

Fred and who would have bet that Gordon Brown would screw up so badly at the last GE. Labour looked odds on to win the last time!

Interesting diversion from the Confidence Trickster party, where the members and MPs routinely to be defecting from.
Losing donors left and right. What was the hand out £100,000 raised to, a mere£1,000,000, when leadership called somebody a nobody.
A party with its leadership detached from its core supporters.
Dig up Maggie's fighting spirit!
Or even better bring back Ann Widdecombe.
She would fit well into the comic opera which the tories have now become.
