thanks gibby ..... some, like EO, is arguably bad luck, but XEL was just greed and stupidity in equal measure in holding more than common sense dictated

markymar - 18 May 2011 17:10 - 483 of 544

Its gloom and doom at the moment Cynic i just hope the AGM went well today if not am going to stay down my mine and sulk for 6 months.

cynic - 18 May 2011 17:20 - 484 of 544

which AGM?

Sequestor - 18 May 2011 17:45 - 485 of 544

XEL AGMl another disaster zone, Canada has enough oil for a century, all these oily minows will die within 6 months, its only mugs feeding them with their ever demanding cash calls, which keep the bod in the fashion they were never used too

triples all round XEL directors.

As for oil in the Falklands ( snigger)

cynic - 18 May 2011 17:52 - 486 of 544

it doesn't matter about what (shale) oil canada does or doesn't have ..... XEL's stuff, now of debatable quantity, is in the north sea lest you had not noticed! ..... anyway, the AGM clearly excited (sorry about the pun) no one, nor scared them either

gibby - 18 May 2011 18:34 - 487 of 544

well didnt see the 70p + thought we may get at close here therefore have kept my couple of punts here open for tomorrow morning as after analysis of the last hour trend it is indicating at least an early blue start to the day tomorrow - whether it holds the whole day or not is another thing - additionally seen this many times before - the heavy multiple upon multiple stop losses triggered today almost endless - and i am betting a lot of those will want back in tomorrow am low as possible - final drill here 15/20 days away - t/o not ruled out or perhaps a merger to reduce costs through synergies / maxed levarage etc - interesting day ahead here and still have what has already been found - iis will fill and have been buying in tranches at these give away prices imo - gla

gibby - 18 May 2011 18:35 - 488 of 544

that word shale - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooooooooooooo - i hear that word and think of the dreaded hawk - arggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gibby - 18 May 2011 18:35 - 489 of 544

i will give them jolly roger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sequestor - 18 May 2011 18:45 - 490 of 544

Nothing to do with shale oil, this oil is pure enough to put straight into a diesel engine without any refining needed-I thought you would have known about that, no wonder PI`s are being ripped off.

cynic - 18 May 2011 20:17 - 491 of 544

shows what little of nothing you know old son ... don't be an ass, or lay off the sauce, or both

Proselenes - 19 May 2011 01:28 - 492 of 544
