Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Quite right. Barley and hops!

dreamcatcher - 01 Mar 2012 07:53 - 4739 of 4886

One of the best things on earth, the other one well erhhhh.

kimoldfield - 01 Mar 2012 08:08 - 4740 of 4886

"Where there is tea there is hope."
Where there is beer there is a hop.

kimoldfield - 01 Mar 2012 08:09 - 4741 of 4886

Sometime a skip and a jump as well; but usually a fall!

Well I'll drink to that. In fact I'll raise more than my glass!

Socrates - 15 Mar 2012 13:24 - 4744 of 4886

I'm here.
The teas here.
Where's the doughnuts?

kimoldfield - 15 Mar 2012 17:00 - 4745 of 4886

Up there, behind the bar!

I was sitting in Leaf Tea Shop last week staring at a sign saying "Where there's tea there's hope" wondering where I had heard that before!

Ah, that looks familiar!

kimoldfield - 15 Mar 2012 17:26 - 4748 of 4886

Time for tea!

dreamcatcher - 15 Mar 2012 17:36 - 4749 of 4886

lol

Socrates - 20 Mar 2012 15:13 - 4750 of 4886

I'm just lolling about, drinking my tea and waiting for the market to settle down. Could get through a lot of lolling and drink a lot of tea before that happens, I think.

kimoldfield - 20 Mar 2012 16:51 - 4751 of 4886

Lol!
:o)

kimoldfield - 20 Mar 2012 16:53 - 4752 of 4886

After today I need something stronger than tea. :o(
Things could improve tomorrow. :o)
Or not. :o(

Socrates - 21 Mar 2012 09:40 - 4753 of 4886

Oh, what happened to cause that, Kim?

kimoldfield - 21 Mar 2012 10:35 - 4754 of 4886

Not a good day on the old stockmarket Socs. Whilst I don't have my shirt on it I do have a fairly decent pair of underpants involved! :o)
Today is a better day thus far. I expect George Orsborne to put a stop to my temporary euphoria!

Socrates - 21 Mar 2012 11:17 - 4755 of 4886

I see Kim. I've stopped having 'days' on the market, just held onto 6 stocks, all of which are in deficit. Very slowly coming back up but things are just too volatile for me to consider trading yet. Got one just teetering on the edge of profitability, just needs a nudge to put it into profit. At least I get a dividend or two so not feeling too bad about it.

I'll put the kettle on since sun is just over the yard-arm.

kimoldfield - 21 Mar 2012 12:10 - 4756 of 4886

I hope I haven't got shares in the one that is "just teetering on the edge of profitability" Socs, if I have it is guaranteed to teeter on the edge of a cliff, then fall off!

Tea for me please, no sugar. Guinness after the Budget. :o)
