made a useful profit here a month or two back, but do not currently hold .... it's on my watchlist because of TLW as much as anything

bought back in a few days ago and topped up yesterday ...... lucky chappy!
'This is an exciting time for Heritage as we make preparations to test the high impact Miran West-1 exploration well. The excellent oil shows over such a large interval of 1.1 kilometres highlights the multi-billion barrel oil potential of the prospects on the Miran licence, given the extensive area of the two Miran structures. We believe that Miran, like our unprecedented success in Uganda, has the potential to transform Heritage and deliver excellent value for our shareholders.'

there may just possibly be a predator circling, but don't bank on it .... on the other hand, you may want to bank some profits (i have) as sp is very close to the all-time high and that nearly always proves a significant hurdle

cynic get some GKP, husband's brother (works for a small cap fund) is waxing absolute lyrical about them, presenting to the city next week and a forced seller has driven the stock down of late. He's talking them being worth at least 50p ( currently 10p ) and massive director buying. Drilling adjacent to where HOIL struck last week as well.

Thanks Kate--I hold a few of these and have read very positive comments on the other side. I think I'll add if I can before they do their presentation next week after your post!

This is going to go through the roof if they confirm what they say in the last RNS...going by that I would think that you could have possibly more than 15000 barrels per day...anything like 20000 or even 30000 and we are talking about an increase in the sp of 100p in one morning !.

pay attention kate!!
sp has zipped through all all-time high on a horrid day in the markets.
nothing is ever certain with shares, but with the Kurdistan news following on from that in Uganda a few weeks ago, this is surely almost as bullish as one can get
good strong finish too

i have now caught up with all the announcements.
while the find in Kurdistan is probably very significant (more news within a month), there is the very major obstacle that the Baghdad gov't won't let the stuff be exported.
that said, it's almost good news that whatever the size of this find, it will be at least 3 years until it properly up and flowing, by which time, we can but hope that the loonies have acquired some brain cells.

only SELL notes usually make much difference, but certainly like this ....

since breaking through the psychologically tough barrier of the (previous) all-time high, sp has chugged on upwards, partly thanks to above buy note, but also thanks to the recent RNS
Falklands oilies fans ..... eat your hearts out!
As have posted previously, stick to "real and proven" oilies rather than just ones with blue sky

Any thoughts on this one after yesterday's results. I was hoping for some timeframes for the results from the well test but nothing. Any ideas how long these type of results may take ?
