AFR farms in on "Big Oils " inception upstream ; and with its scale of economy it works closely with "Big oils" fields on the look out for excellent workovers oppertunities .... Already lt has via a complicated j/v a percentage of the Sao Tome and Principe acreage -Located between the oil rich waters of Nigeria and those of Sao Tome and operated by Texaco / Chevron and Esso; and believed by many to be the new North sea . . 3D Seismic testing and magnetic graphic imagery and satellite imaging has located a labyrinth of channels leading to a main resavoir which is believed to14-15 mmbbls of oil and which would leave AFR with its share of 120/140 million barrels for NO cash outlay .To ensure early cash generation Afren has entered into a production sharing agreement in the developed Ogedeh field { adjacent to the BP operated Olowi marin field which is believed to yield 180 mmbbloe. A great day for AFR reversing the downward spiral, over 12.5m traded and a 20%
increase in the SP. Tomorrow will tell us more and if the momentum is with us,something i believe to be true? Maybe a reason for the surge of interest,

Almost 2.5m traded this am, up6%, News release concerning the presentation
from the previous post which can be viewed on their Co. site. With results less than 2 weeks away we could see the herd arriving in force very soon?

Yes, and I topped up on Friday at 14.8p and again today at 18.45p. Now all in profit.

Oilrag well done, up another 14% yet so little interest,company working hard (via presentation)to raise the profile, looking very positive.

BLVN up 140% this am,on possible offer of 150p. AFR have a lot more production and P2 reserves, with a successful annoucement of EBOX,"WHAT VALUE AFR"???

The only thing thats changed is the price of oil $147 then 48 now ... lol

Up 35% over 20m traded, real momentum. Waiting patiently for Ebox's results, if
as good as indicated 50p would not be ramoing.

You never know what to expect...I thought a gentle steady rise would come...now it's like a takeover bid is coming....testing results coming ?,.....in a way I hate these sharp rises because it always seems to happen when I can't watch and before you know it ...right back down the sp goes....

I'm thinking of staying put but this sharp rise is making me itchy.....for the moment staying put.....I just hope that there is no sudden drop !.
