a very good confidence building paragraph by stephanie.

"Stephanie Morgan-Fisher, Director of Stanelco's North American Operations said, "The UK conversion marks the beginning of a revolution in packaging. This is the first machine of ASDA's 200-machine commitment in the United Kingdom. We are aggressively marketing this technology in North America simultaneously and expect to announce our first agreement for conversions in the United States and Canada in the near future." "

again the figure of 200 machines is there to see. i cannot imagine they would repeat that figure after mondays rns if there was only going to be one machine. this is only the beginning, imo.
seqy, baby, who on earth is going to take you seriously? according to you this morning, seo was the short of the year, this afternoon it was going to fly!!!again , i repeat, there are different strategies for trading and investing. this thread is in the investors' room where people have taken a long term approach. why not start a new seo traders' thread in the traders' room where you can talk long and short all day long/short? then, maybe some of the friction and antagonism that has cropped up recently may disappear as investors can talk with fellow investors and traders the same. it certainly does appear that the two don't mix.

Sequestor - 24 May 2005 20:42 - 4807 of 27111

Whether you take me seriously or not matters to me , not a jot, I longed the other week, sold for profit, shorted and closed today for profit longed today for (hopefully ) a profit, the lack of knowledge on this thread is amazing- have you never heard of a `rolling position`, presumably not, check out One way bet .com- they may help you to make a few bob- at least you seem to have an IQ considerably higher than your fellows on this thread.
Oh and if this is "the investors room", i would expect it to have a ` phone covered in cobwebs as the " investors" chortled at the m rolling in from their "investment", instead of the panic and ramping apparent every time the
share price moves, do me a favour do try to move with the times!!!

ps ditch the tw@ts who insult for a living- they demeen you.

pps go on a MAM free "do", its really good, who knows you may learn something

i dont believe im with oldolie AGAIN. ( sequestor to the rest of you ).

lighten up and listen to the guy. you can always ignore him. he was the bane ( in terms of the ether ) of my life on the tad thread. a contrary point of view most certainly doesnt represent a negative point of view. although im very much an seo bull for now, a few here might be well advised to take a long hard look at their investment.

it aint going up forever, just long enough for me to retire early.

dont have a go at me for this post. its honest and how i feel. the seo printing press will run out of dosh sooner or later.

superrod - 24 May 2005 21:48 - 4810 of 27111

btw olie
i agree that this thread is littered with peeps that really should not be playing the market. whilst i acknowledge that market nous can be gleaned/learnt/bought/whatever, some posters are breathtakingly ignorant in financial terms.

a sample from memory on this thread.

WHAT IS LEVEL2?
WHO ARE EVO?

stopping now cos i dont want to get alienated. im not smarter than most, but i sure as hell make sure i know the absolute basics before pressing the keys and waiting for the dosh to roll in.( or OUT ).

a bad day today, maybe fortune will be with us tomorrow.

bosley - 24 May 2005 21:59 - 4811 of 27111

ghengis, one day you are going to say something ...... and i'm sure it will be worth the wait!!

bosley - 24 May 2005 22:06 - 4812 of 27111

superrod, i always thought boards like this were a good place to learn and to help people increase their knowledge. i am sure there was a time when you didn't know what level 2 was. i used to ask croc questions and, as thick as he must have thought i was, he was always willing to take time to answer. that was a help to me.

One can't help but notice that Messrs Smith & Robson have been absent from this BB for the last two day??

EWRobson - 24 May 2005 22:46 - 4814 of 27111

Back after a couple of days feeding the soul! A quick summary of my findings:

1. The anticipated RNS effectively triggering the exclusivity period. Disappoints the amrket because only one machine. But that's all it needed to be. The ASDA figure is confirmed as 200 in the US post.

2. Evo update moves from BUY to ADD. Forecasts unchanged until they can see the pattern of order growth. "There is compelling evidence for believing Greenseal will win many orders." Raise question of durability of patents and present alternative scenarios depending on when patents expire. They project eps of 0.9p in year ending 10/06 or a pe of 30. They state their assumtions are harsh but are concerned about 'premature exuberance'.

3. Interesting that EK states he is short on ASOS but not that he has re-opened the position. He doesn't appear to be aware of the influence on profits of royalty payments.

4. It does appear that market became over-exuberant last week on US rumour. Against this Stephanie Morgan-Fisher states her confidence in a first US order in the near future. Its worth noting again that the Premier and Advanced engineer training is for the US market. Given the constraints of the ASDA deal (e.g. suppliers who cover various supermarket chains), it appears the logic of that deal is to get the product proven in anger over here so that the exploitation can occur in the US.

Finally, a plea for a movement away from the confrontational style that has appeared on this bb. Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of our lives - great if posters showed each other due consideration.

Cluckin Bell, I go away on business for two days and I come back to our bb littered with shite and bitchiness and people I don't know questioning me as to where I am and have I top-sliced or sold-out.
Folks, I have a job to do in the world of packaging, thats all, I am still here and so are my SEO shares. Two weeks ago SEO 20.5p, now 25p, what the cluckin bell is the problem? it was over-bought on rumour AGAIN and then re-traced back to a sensible price for the CURRENT NEWS. Big deal, well yes actually the news was a big deal, not in itself but in the fact that the 1st machine has been commercialised, just the start IMO and I am prepared to hold my SEO shares for the future, you know my opinion, I don't need to repeat it.
For info (sorry Driver) if I had been here and read the RNS first thing I would have seen that the rumour had over-strecthed the sp and sold say 30% of my holding BUT and bought back again today at 25p, increasing my holding.
This was my prediction for the sp if the news didn't match the rumour and I was right, bloody job prevented me from taking the action!!
My prediction for SEO and long-term sp remains the same.

Apologies to both of you, Insiderinside has sown a seed of doubt to the uninitiated, pleased to hear your positive views.

Hind sight is a wonderful thing. My dealings would be almost perfect. EW Don't agree with you.

Driver et al,

Its unfortunate that we have to deal with certain unsavoury characters on the BBs. Some have hidden agendas, some don't hide their agenda, some just have nothing fruitful in their lives other than flit from one BB to another and another. There's one here tonight - he has posted on ADVFN, MoneyAm and Ample, (probably other) rehashing his negative spin to anyone whom will give him an audience. His ratio of posts is one of the highest I have witnessed, yet he claims it take up little of his time. (Just 24/7) I am sure psychoanalysts will one day come up with a reason for the phenomenon that we witness on a daily basis - the wasting of ones life - hours on end on the BBs mocking and willing others to loose their investments. The I told you so`s, the Walter Mitty`s of this World.

I have never responded to this character, to do so gives him a purpose in life, and audience, a reason to stay in on a sunny day.

There is good news though, which means they need to be more careful with their words. If nothing else, the hyper link enclosed proves no one is as anonymous as they think.

Good luckhttp://www.news.vu/en/news/judicial/050329-Forum-poster-sued-for-libel.shtml

bosley
you are of course correct,if you dont ask you dont get, but i stand by my assertion that BASIC knowledge is the absolute minimum when trying to make money on the stock market.
no offence was intended to anyone.

Dynamite - 25 May 2005 08:07 - 4824 of 27111

Well if you want to know where I stand...I did say I was in for the long term but I really could see SEO as being over sold at 31p on rumour so I confess I sold out because I could see a retracement. I think things should settle back down today so I will buy back in. Nothing wrong with SEO it is a great company, with great products and technology but 25p ish is a more realistic price at the mo. You cannot blame me for making a profit out of the inevitable and now we shall all carry on again...onwards and upwards :-)
