Cluckin Bell, I go away on business for two days and I come back to our bb littered with shite and bitchiness and people I don't know questioning me as to where I am and have I top-sliced or sold-out.
Folks, I have a job to do in the world of packaging, thats all, I am still here and so are my SEO shares. Two weeks ago SEO 20.5p, now 25p, what the cluckin bell is the problem? it was over-bought on rumour AGAIN and then re-traced back to a sensible price for the CURRENT NEWS. Big deal, well yes actually the news was a big deal, not in itself but in the fact that the 1st machine has been commercialised, just the start IMO and I am prepared to hold my SEO shares for the future, you know my opinion, I don't need to repeat it.
For info (sorry Driver) if I had been here and read the RNS first thing I would have seen that the rumour had over-strecthed the sp and sold say 30% of my holding BUT and bought back again today at 25p, increasing my holding.
This was my prediction for the sp if the news didn't match the rumour and I was right, bloody job prevented me from taking the action!!
My prediction for SEO and long-term sp remains the same.

Apologies to both of you, Insiderinside has sown a seed of doubt to the uninitiated, pleased to hear your positive views.

Hind sight is a wonderful thing. My dealings would be almost perfect. EW Don't agree with you.

Driver et al,

Its unfortunate that we have to deal with certain unsavoury characters on the BBs. Some have hidden agendas, some don't hide their agenda, some just have nothing fruitful in their lives other than flit from one BB to another and another. There's one here tonight - he has posted on ADVFN, MoneyAm and Ample, (probably other) rehashing his negative spin to anyone whom will give him an audience. His ratio of posts is one of the highest I have witnessed, yet he claims it take up little of his time. (Just 24/7) I am sure psychoanalysts will one day come up with a reason for the phenomenon that we witness on a daily basis - the wasting of ones life - hours on end on the BBs mocking and willing others to loose their investments. The I told you so`s, the Walter Mitty`s of this World.

I have never responded to this character, to do so gives him a purpose in life, and audience, a reason to stay in on a sunny day.

There is good news though, which means they need to be more careful with their words. If nothing else, the hyper link enclosed proves no one is as anonymous as they think.

Good luckhttp://www.news.vu/en/news/judicial/050329-Forum-poster-sued-for-libel.shtml

you are of course correct,if you dont ask you dont get, but i stand by my assertion that BASIC knowledge is the absolute minimum when trying to make money on the stock market.

Well if you want to know where I stand...I did say I was in for the long term but I really could see SEO as being over sold at 31p on rumour so I confess I sold out because I could see a retracement. I think things should settle back down today so I will buy back in. Nothing wrong with SEO it is a great company, with great products and technology but 25p ish is a more realistic price at the mo. You cannot blame me for making a profit out of the inevitable and now we shall all carry on again...onwards and upwards :-)

I think its held up quite well considering..

016622 - 25 May 2005 08:42 - 4830 of 27111

just a stutter jb!
I think it would be a brave short imo. Having just sealed (sorry for the pun!) the first deal, the chance must be that more machines will follow. Wal Mart are in the wings, training started in America and then you have frogpack which may well take off
I still feel there is more upside to this but wouldnt mind another buying opportunity at 18p!
(I'm out and watching at the mo)

Sequestor - 25 May 2005 09:27 - 4831 of 27111

hello superrer,
ironic you are one of the few level -headed ones around here- thats a compliment roughly hewed, by the way.
Now after `damning you with faint praise`, I think the buys are taking a bit of control , and a bit of blue will appear today today, I am still looking for 30p, to exit this week- but hey who isn`t?

stay mellow.

sidtrix - 25 May 2005 10:46 - 4832 of 27111

Still think 20-23p is gonna be the retracement... wanna get back in at 21p lol however hope for the rest of you that it goes up rather than down!

Chiva20 - 25 May 2005 10:57 - 4833 of 27111

I can't see it dropping more the trading range pre the last Rns, why would it? A little selling over exuberance maybe. Great opportunity to top up if it does.

bhunt1910 - 25 May 2005 11:46 - 4834 of 27111

Morning all - just back from a little R&R in Prague to find over 500 posts on this thread - so have religiously read them all to find very little except that the sp went up a bit - then down a bit - then down a bit more and an awful lot of bickering.

WEhat happened to the SEO thread of all when everyone was proactively putting forward their constructive views (Good & bad) rather than all this back biting and bitching.

I am SEO for the lomg term - I understand the risks, I understand the potential, I understand the rewards - which could be mega - but which might not - I understand that prices go up on rumour and are quite often overbought - then oversold - just like most other shares - so not quite sure what all the fuss is about.

A personal plea - can we get back to constructive discussion when new news hits the wire - I think we have done old news to death.

I personally think that SEO is a winner and I am an investor - rather than a trader- not sure of the time scale so I hold (a lot) of their shares. If I did not beleive in this company - I would have sold out long ago. Others will have diferent strategies - thats great - wouldn't it be boring if we all did the same thing.

So please lets get back to what I thought was one of the best threads on one of the best boards.

By the way - I thought Prague was fantastic - a wonderful city to walk round if you enjoy architecture, culture, atmosphere, good beer and excellent food and friendly people. It also helped that they staged the Prague marathon over the weekend which meant that there were also live bands and groups and street entertainers on street corners all over the place which added to the atmosphere. Not as cheap as I had been lead to beleive - but certainly good value.
