Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Getting frustrated re not being able to do anything in IE. Ok I can use Firefox but prefer IE as Firefox will not allow my L2 that I run on another site to run as efficiently as on IE. Can't understand what has changed re Moneyam via IE. It can't be my computer as others appear to be having same problems, ie continually taking me back to the log in box every time I click on anything. This is not a moan as I appreciate problems occur but do you have any idea what's wrong.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 09 May 2006 12:06 - 4835 of 7315

greekman,

At the moment we don't know what's causing these problems to occur.

From what we can see, from the email you sent us, the cookie is being set correctly however when you're hitting our servers with the login information the same cookie's not being sent.

James is currently adding some debug into our code so we can track your login more easily and see what's going on. We'll post here when that's in place and take it from there.

Thank you for your patience.

J.

Ian,

Please can you check the FTSE 100 Heatmap and % gainers/losers. Some stocks are listed that should not be there (eg. OOM, SCR) and others seem to be missing (eg PRTY)
