TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 05 Aug 2004 13:18

Hello.

Since the switch over we have had a few teething issues, so to save you reading all the posts on this thread, ill list the ones that have been found, and when they have been fixed, cross them out. If things are not working despite being 'fixed', ill put them back on the list.

MoneyAM Website
Closing bid/offer prices skewed
Charts: OHLC not being saved, breaking candle sticks.
Market Scan issues.

If there is any that I have missed, please let us know.

All,

The problem with the buys/sells/unknowns not automatically increasing has been resolved.

I will cross it off the list.

"The problem with the buys/sells/unknowns not automatically increasing has been resolved."

Not on my portfolio. Still a problem.

Afraid to say the bid & offer prices at close on most aim stocks are still incorrect to what they should be at.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 19 Aug 2004 14:11 - 487 of 616

SueHelen,

We are aware of this and are working to resolve the problem.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Regards

Ian

Just for the record JMAT has been missing most of it's data from the beginning of all these changes.

Stan,

Thank you for this - we are aware of the problem and we are looking at ways to resolve it.

SueHelen,

A brief update as to what is happening:

We have actually identified deficiencys in the our feed in that for most/all AIM stocks comstock are not sending us the official bid/offer on close. Becuase of this, our code which processes these and makes everything work for other stocks is failing.

We are in communication with comstock about resolving their feed. If they are unable to resolve this in the feed then we shall put workarounds in our code.

Thanks for the update TulletJ, much appreciated.

It appears that the streaming Dow Index is delayed by about 20 mins. Any chance of tweaking it so that it runs 20 minutes in advance??

utilisada - 19 Aug 2004 17:00 - 493 of 616

Nice one Yoyo!!!!!!!!!!!!

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 20 Aug 2004 08:33 - 494 of 616

Yoyo,

We have never advertised, nor sold subscription levels, saying that we provide live Dow. We are not authorised to give that live unfortunately.

J - Stockwatch volumes still up the shute but Trades seem to have them ok. Do you use different feeds for these pages?

Yoyo - 20 Aug 2004 08:51 - 496 of 616

In that case, the pevious charting package was much superior to this new one as the delay was in seconds as opposed to what is now nearly 1/2 hour.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 20 Aug 2004 08:54 - 497 of 616

TOK,

HAve passed your comments onto JT - they do come from the same feed, but there is a problem in the way this is displayed at the moment.

Yoyo,

Appreciate your comments, but unfortunately we are only allowed to display these on a delayed basis.

Ian

The Other Kevin - 20 Aug 2004 09:03 - 498 of 616

Ian - Thanks for that. Perhaps you should remove the "crossd out" lines from the header in relation to the first two Stockwatch items?

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 20 Aug 2004 09:08 - 499 of 616

TOK,

I have uncrossed out the top one. The one below it has been correctly done (which you can see by looking at stocks which have not traded yet.

J - Sorry. Wrist slapped!

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 20 Aug 2004 10:25 - 501 of 616

All,

I will be restarting our level1 streaming services to fix the bug with the Buy/Sell/Unknown volumes.

If you have not reconnected within 2-3 minutes, please press the ctrl key and hit the 'refresh' button on your browser.
