Forex rebates on every trade - win or lose!

Hilary - how do you trade Forex? I use mainly cfds for equities (apart from tiny trades on the FTSE 100s occasionally).

PS I've put a post on the cmc thread - similar to your views I suspect.

Cloudbase - 22 Feb 2006 11:11 - 4835 of 11056

Maggot.....Hi, i only kept cmc for forex as up to now been no problem but i also had a requote for 5 after held yellow, time to close account.

here we go again .....

a higher low sets a target of 1.7530.

a lower one sets 1.7050

Gausie - 22 Feb 2006 11:19 - 4838 of 11056

Anyone else here trade currency futs on DMA?

Maggot - 22 Feb 2006 11:20 - 4839 of 11056

Hi, cloudbase. Nice to 'see' you again after Manchester.

CMC is so quick, and they offer the free charts (though they are not brilliant, are they?) Also a simple site - couldn't work out how to use the Cantor site, and IG wasn't easy, to my mind. But I am simple anyway!

hilary - 22 Feb 2006 11:32 - 4840 of 11056

FXCM, Maggot.

There's a Bubble banging the ECB drums currently giving EUR some support.

Maggot - 22 Feb 2006 11:38 - 4841 of 11056

thanks, Hilary

Gausie - 22 Feb 2006 12:01 - 4842 of 11056

5,10 & 15 min RSI on cable just turned up from oversold.

Added BPH6 @ 1.7399 & 1.7401

Dont forget CPI 1.30

Cloudbase - 22 Feb 2006 12:43 - 4843 of 11056

Gausie.....Hi, are you trading BPH6 with e-trade ? if so what do they charge per round turn?

Maggot - 22 Feb 2006 12:44 - 4844 of 11056

Have had a look at FXCM - very professional. Very interested. Thanks, Hilary.

Gausie - 22 Feb 2006 12:53 - 4845 of 11056

Cloud - yes, rates are negotiable.

I use it because I rarely trade futs, but when I do I share the margin with my cfd account.

Cloudbase - 22 Feb 2006 12:57 - 4846 of 11056

Gausie....Ok thanks, will take a look.

hilary - 22 Feb 2006 13:20 - 4847 of 11056

Well I'm targetting another 100 pips short cable from here till next support.

chocolat - 22 Feb 2006 13:31 - 4848 of 11056

You're right Hils - indicators don't look good and a lower low today but I'm chancing my luck at 1.7380 off a tentative support line from last week's low. :S

hilary - 22 Feb 2006 13:40 - 4849 of 11056

Choccie,

You might be right with it.

I've got an open mind on cable all the time that both sets of rates are at a neutral 4.5%. I think that the market is trying to read too deeply into clues and signs that aren't really there and it's making life a bit difficult.

The Yen is where all of the action is atm.

Gausie - 22 Feb 2006 14:08 - 4850 of 11056

Holy moley - that CPI was fun!

chocolat - 22 Feb 2006 14:26 - 4851 of 11056

Hmm well - my indicators are pointing to a lot more fun now, so I hope they don't go squiffy on me.

goforit - 22 Feb 2006 15:29 - 4852 of 11056

busier thread today. entered a small long short while ago /$

Gausie - 22 Feb 2006 15:37 - 4853 of 11056
