THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

How are the Tories going to pay £1.7bn to the EU, when they have already given £3bn away in tax cuts to Tory Millionaires #votetory

In the last 4 years this country has got into a real mess, never had this in 13 years of Labour, strong growth and everyone had a job

aldwickk - 24 Oct 2014 19:01 - 48395 of 81564

Maybe that's because there are more immigrants coming into the UK being poled .

How can we re-negotiate when we have been told that reform of free movement of workers within the EU will never happen. , Will we be able to scrap the human rights laws or stop 75% of new laws being set by unelected bureaucrats ?

Its to big a mess to untangle, even if it was it would take 20 years or more

MaxK - 24 Oct 2014 19:02 - 48396 of 81564

Really? I'll have some of whatever he's smoking.

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 19:05 - 48397 of 81564

Its true, it was brilliant under the last labour government. Far better than the gypo economy we have now.

ExecLine - 24 Oct 2014 19:06 - 48398 of 81564

Took Madame out this afternoon and hit the shops for some retail therapy.

Coming back, my dear lady commented about how the street lights are 80% turned off on lots of the roads and how we can't see a damned thing on our own street because of the street lights being turned off to help save money.

All to help pay the EU the €2.0bn they are demanding from us, we suppose.

What a bummer, eh?

We now definitely want out of the EU!

aldwickk - 24 Oct 2014 19:07 - 48399 of 81564

And it was all built on sand. Remember the note they left behind " No more money , its all gone "

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 19:09 - 48400 of 81564

No not really just lower grants handed down by Central Government to Local government.

Did you watch Question Time last night and hear the disparity between money given to London boroughs and Northern boroughs, an absolute disgrace.

MaxK - 24 Oct 2014 19:09 - 48401 of 81564

Not to mention the debt ... PFI anyone?

Fred1new - 24 Oct 2014 19:15 - 48402 of 81564

Maggie took her handbag to Europe.

Suggest Cameron takes his knickers off and shakes it at them.

What a joke he has become!

All to hold the tory pack together!

GF,

I watched Qt and was surprised at the hostility of the audience and the destruction of the typically weak con party "representative".

It showed how out of touch the present governing crew are.

The money had all gone because Labour had to bail out the thieving Banks and Bankers.

Would you have been prepared to let them go broke?????????

Do you realise what that would have meant on the streets of Britain???????

CIVIL WAR...........DID YOU WANT THAT???????????

MaxK - 24 Oct 2014 19:18 - 48404 of 81564

Who let the banks go mad in the first place?

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 19:18 - 48405 of 81564

Fred they were hammered last night, and today Camoron banging his hand with a sponge on his table top looked a complete and utter fool.

Its all face dressing for the By election.

The Tories under Thatcher who I have proved about a dozen times. What short memories. Remember the BIG BANG.

cynic - 24 Oct 2014 19:26 - 48408 of 81564

EU extra contribution
if i were a cynic, which heaven forfend, one might look at the odds on this demand being heavily watered down or even withdrawn ...... one might then ask whether it was all a fix from the off

but then i am not a cynic :-)

Fred1new - 24 Oct 2014 19:28 - 48409 of 81564
