THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

you're a poor judge of character then
it worries me not one iota, any more than do your regular snide comments about my upbringing and similar
however, it does reveal rather a lot about you ...... not that that is of much interest to anyone either

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 20:27 - 48423 of 81564

Thats OK, no probs.

cynic - 24 Oct 2014 20:29 - 48424 of 81564

time to park handbags? :-)

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 20:31 - 48425 of 81564

Think your thread followers are getting a little miffed though, especially seymour.

A bit like all the complaints Mike B recd about you, CC and DB...............

Bullshare - 24 Oct 2014 16:29 - 2248 of 2271

Chris Carson; I have a very a good sense of humour ( I must have to have founded MoneyAm and ADVFN) but when I have an email box of complaints about this thread(chart attack spoilers) my sense of humour fast disappears.

All of just toe the line, makes life easier for you and me !!!

Haystack - 24 Oct 2014 20:31 - 48426 of 81564

Is it safe for you to be seen in Dubai with a handbag?

doodlebug4 - 24 Oct 2014 20:32 - 48427 of 81564

Lol

cynic - 24 Oct 2014 20:34 - 48428 of 81564

last time i was here, i was truly amazed to see a guy built like a builder strolling around dubai mall (it's truly HUGE) in fully drag

doodlebug4 - 24 Oct 2014 20:36 - 48429 of 81564

Was it Boris Johnson?

cynic - 24 Oct 2014 20:37 - 48430 of 81564

not nearly as good looking :-)

cynic - 24 Oct 2014 20:48 - 48432 of 81564

i read a few of those when they were published in ST ....some were indeed entertaining

Fred1new - 24 Oct 2014 21:01 - 48433 of 81564

Manuel.

Are you claiming expenses for lying (down) in the sun?

===

GF .

I squelched Alds a long time ago.

Max/

I "grumble" about "governments", but I would hate to have the responsibility.

The thing I dislike about this government is their lack of long term policies in favour of society as a whole, in favour of short term policies, which they hope will buy them favours with their backers, or in the short term advantageous to themselves. (Greed.)

I dislike their dishonesty with and distortion of "figures", to the degree when the general public distrusts them. (A new low in politics.)

I can't remember a period in which UK society has been so fragmented and demoralised and with little unity of future goals for children and society as a whole.

It is a stinking time in politics.

cynic - 24 Oct 2014 21:07 - 48434 of 81564

i never lie in the sun as it happens
this afternoon, i had a very good meeting with a client at the golf club as it was one place that would be quite quiet, and also is a very nice place to be
in fact, that meeting turned out to have far more potential than i expected, so time very well spent indeed

btw, i shan't put in for overtime either, even though it did entail working at the weekend (as friday is here) :-)

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 21:42 - 48435 of 81564

Fred alders you mean. Wish Id known lets face it he started the 'Kick off today'.

Whats wrong with these people are they just out to cause trouble.

For Gods sake they are Old Men.

And then they complain about teenagers.........give me strength.

Anyway Fred ive gone upstairs with this beyond management here.

Im not taking this trolling anymore.

If Im kicked off fair enough Ill miss a lot of good friends who I have enjoyed mixing with over the last 14 years, but Im not prepared to put up with spoilers who are here just to create havoc for a laugh.

MaxK - 24 Oct 2014 21:49 - 48436 of 81564

gf, go and have a good crap, you'll feel much better.

And I'm not having a pop at you, but theres nothing like a good clearout to straighten out the wobbly bits of life.

MaxK - 24 Oct 2014 21:50 - 48437 of 81564

A pint or three wouldn't hurt either.

goldfinger - 24 Oct 2014 21:55 - 48438 of 81564

Max stop being a tw-t. It doesnt suit you.

MaxK - 24 Oct 2014 23:07 - 48439 of 81564

gf.

It's painfull, but you have to understand.

None of the party leaders care about you, none of them.

If you were on fire, none of them would cross the road to piss on you to put the fire out, they wouldn't even notice.

They don't care about you gf, they really don't!

Haystack - 24 Oct 2014 23:27 - 48440 of 81564

Most of them care deeply about power.

Haystack - 25 Oct 2014 00:05 - 48441 of 81564

The Telegraph claims former prime minister Tony Blair has told friends that he thinks the Conservatives will win the next election.
