ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Frankly ; this is one of the greatest stocks/shares there has ever been along with Microsoft....and Amstrad (at its best)...Gulfkeystone...Google...Apple.. and a few others.....but the danger is that it is massively overvalued and at some stage this is going to drop by perhaps thirty pounds or so over the space of ...perhaps a week....there is nothing wrong with this gem of a company...just that the sp is ridiculous compared to other stocks/shares...and this looks like a head and shoulders formation :...goes up, hits the top...down a little...up again...can't get by 70 pounds...then the drop...I might be wrong...but the telltale signs are there, as far as charting is concerned...

Here's the main points of why I'm short,
I don't believe the company can sustain its profitability, costs are already starting to grow which will hit the bottom line. Also as a technical play this looks to me as though its very much done. Add to that the company is looking to trade main markets away from AIM to attract investment and you have to ask yourself who in their right mind invests in a company that will take 100 years to return the initial investment...
On Fundamentals when I look at the last audited accounts I see a company with a net worth of £120m or 144p per share. If you look at turnover to profit before tax this business is geared at just over 7%.
Finally, I'll post changes to my position but I'm not going to debate this with you.

quite right too shortie .... that is exactly why for the first and only time in my life i have applied the squelch option
with regard to ASC, what i have found most interesting is the slight shift away by the assorted brokers and analysts from almost universal bullishness .... for sure they are often wrong, but most certainly they have influence and are (questionable) indicators of sentiment and mood ..... if market sentiment starts to move against ASC, or indeed any high-flying growth company, then the result for sp is brutal

Seams compelling that the majority of people that have posted here are ASC bearish... Maybe if a bull could post why their bullish (and stick to the facts) this thread would at least have some rounded substance.
The only thing I see bullish about ASC is the long term trend.

just to add shortie, sure you don't have to debate, same as you don't have to make money. everyone's got different objectives. its ok.
