How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Just turned on the Bolton game and laid them at 2.6.

Cant believe they were only 2.2 prior to kick off against a side they struggled to beat at home and when a 0-0 will do what do you expect from big Sam?

jeffmack - 29 Sep 2005 16:47 - 4897 of 10502

When you guys send an E.Mail to friends do you phone or text them to tell them you have sent it.

Fundamentalist - 29 Sep 2005 16:51 - 4898 of 10502

back to your dodgy tracksuit jeff

WOODIE - 29 Sep 2005 17:02 - 4899 of 10502

fundy i laid bolton at 2.2 looking to buy back at 3 or greater they cant afford to play for 0-0 if they go 1-0 down they are up against it

Fundamentalist - 29 Sep 2005 17:05 - 4900 of 10502

Woodie

can get 3.15 now Woodie - playing for 0-0 seems all they know on the first half showing. And if the commentator really believes this is a 4-3-3 formation he should be out of a job

Fundamentalist - 29 Sep 2005 17:06 - 4901 of 10502

Get in - Bolton 1-0 down - now should become a bit more interesting

Fundamentalist - 29 Sep 2005 17:08 - 4902 of 10502

WOODIE - 29 Sep 2005 17:09 - 4903 of 10502
