thanks for your continued efforts on this.

Like you ( an accountant working irregularly) I see this as a bit of fun and like to have a balance between fun and seriousness. Ultimately this is a game for free where the prize is 50 voucher. when I invest my own money there is much more at stake and hence take it a bit more seriously.

to me keeping the balance right is. there are times to be serious and times to have fun - LW - keep having your fun - its what keeps us sane.

I can confirm that this is definitely a fun thread. It was started about 18 months ago when there were no prizes other than the "yellow jersey".

Ehhh...confused..but whoever did win - congratulations!!!

It seems the Home page was working on the same figure I was! Normally I get the post auction price straight away, but for some reason it was delayed and I initially used the pre auction price. It seems the home page had the same problem as me - someone in a hurry to start the weekend!

I believe you've won. The pre auction close was 4426.7 and post auction 4430.7

I think the streaming was slow in updating tonight! Trouble is someone is not going to be happy when they find out - but you're right it just as well we do this for fun - or someone else would have to take it over from me.....

Congrats Owl, way off the mark this time round..I received my odd bin vouchers this week along with a copy of the week's Shares Magazine. they were out of stock hence the delay.

Will post my FTSE prediction for end of June in the next 24 hours...need to analyse things more deeply...was 150pts off the mark this time...very bad.
