This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.

MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture

We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.

Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.

This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)

The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.

Having only recently had my attention brought to this one, am I a bit late in if I'm looking for a 2 month trade? - Any key developments likely in this time period?
- Just sneaked out of RTD until the next cycle so interested in thoughts of companies to research for performance of the coming few months - any thoughts?

Superb morning, Ginger J nows the time to get in, results of trials genevax 18th of this month. If positive we should fly.

Then theres another 5 or more trial results aswell throughout the year. If the stock market stays in a bull phase for the the full year I can see this one blowing apart even the most topish Broker figures.

Im very pleased with this one GF ..

Some investors are making a case for this one to reach 1000p plus but I would say be careful as a bad result from one of the trials could see this crashing down to 100p.Yes they have the potential to reach 1000p in 2 years time but its better to wait till the 18th before committing more funds.

Without problems yes Mitzy, but we all know that the stock exchange is aN UP AND DOWN AFFAIR. Hoping we add more tomorrow.

And a good result Mitzy could see them going through the ceiling especially in the Cancer and HIV related sector.

Just keep calm, we all know or should do a bad trial result will be bad, not disaster as there are at least 5 others backing up this year. That should lead to a quick recovery.

LETS GET IT STRAIGHT ONCE AND FOR ALL, we are looking at a company that is giving out a YES or NO on its results, anybody backing this company like Mitzy or myself canot be blamed if results at final stages are not what the bodies want. Some will say its a toss of the coin, well if thats how you think get tossing. Ill stick by them even if the early ones go wrong. That doesnt mean to say they will, but what do I know.
