THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

If you don't watch out I will put you in the pot.

doodlebug4 - 04 Nov 2014 18:29 - 49214 of 81564

There's something about this thread that reminds of that great movie, "One flew over the cuckoo's nest".

Chris Carson - 04 Nov 2014 18:29 - 49215 of 81564

doodlebug4 - 04 Nov 2014 19:29 - 49225 of 81564

I hope cyners doesn't take sticky to Wentworth Golf Club, that could be a recipe for disaster!

Chris Carson - 04 Nov 2014 19:37 - 49226 of 81564

Aye last golf club he inflicted himself on twatted the chap who had the audacity to ask him to vacate the Captains chair. Class!

ExecLine - 04 Nov 2014 19:44 - 49227 of 81564

Q. Why was six afraid of seven?
A. Because seven was a well known six offender.

aldwickk - 04 Nov 2014 19:45 - 49228 of 81564

Don't give up the day job , lol

doodlebug4 - 04 Nov 2014 19:52 - 49229 of 81564

There's a saying in Scotland, Chris as you know - "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"!

MaxK - 04 Nov 2014 20:07 - 49230 of 81564

You tried to do it with Broon.

doodlebug4 - 04 Nov 2014 20:39 - 49231 of 81564

Personally, I didn't Max - but you obviously understand what I'm saying! Gordon Brown was an embarrassment as PM.

doodlebug4 - 04 Nov 2014 21:17 - 49232 of 81564

Post 49229, and he actually boasted about it. I have two friends who are members at Wentworth and they certainly wouldn't approve of types like that!:-)
