THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Aye last golf club he inflicted himself on twatted the chap who had the audacity to ask him to vacate the Captains chair. Class!

No wrong it was the captain himself who thought and hit me first. He ended in hospital for a week, no charges pressed and guess why. Classles.

Just got back from a remembrance service at a TA barracks. I met some very interesting people. Some had been in Afghanistan and some older ones who had been in Kosovo and NI. One guy was a paratrooper who had been in the SAS.

surprising to many, wentworth is not remotely sniffy as a club, unlike many of the other clubs in the "surrey belt" and in scotland too

cynic - 05 Nov 2014 08:00 - 49257 of 81564

anyway, on a much more interesting and serious note, there's an interesting article on www.money.cnn.com entitled "Taxes and spending: What happens if Republicans win the Senate" .... it's well worth a read

CC,

Not sure why you were quoting the Arsenal score last night, but I think you missed the last 30 minutes. 3-1, 3-2, 3-3.

Boom, boom. I'll get me coat.

:o)

Chris Carson - 05 Nov 2014 08:36 - 49259 of 81564

hils - wasn't aware I was but can see as a Chelsea fan the final score would amuse you :0)

report . today . immigration as cost the uk over 20 years 170 billion
the government will try to say immigration is good for the uk what they mean is immigration is good for companies who can pay them low wages and the tax payers can pay them credits and housing benefits to live
the uk people who have paid in to the system all their lives struggle to see a doctor
have to wait over 3 months to get a hospital appointment
farmers and low paying companies are the winners not the tax payers .

the facts are all out their to read .so read the report

Wish Mr Carson would come back into the community rather than being an outcast protecting another board member.

cynic - 05 Nov 2014 09:22 - 49268 of 81564

why?
do you think he's suffering from shell shock or ptsd?

cynic - 05 Nov 2014 09:24 - 49269 of 81564

to counterbalance, and of course you can always trust everything you read in the guardian as one can in the mail ......

Gary Calton for the Guardian
European migrants to the UK are not a drain on Britain’s finances and pay out far more in taxes than they receive in state benefits, a new study has revealed.

The research by two leading migration economists at University College also reveals that Britain is uniquely successful, even more than Germany, in attracting the most highly skilled and highly educated migrants in Europe.

I would like to see UKIP a little further up the pole.

But aren't the tories quiet about Rochester.

I thought Cameron was going to stride over there with sword in hand a decapitate the Reckless one.

Haven't hear a word about Kelly Tolhurst suckered in to stand.

Would have thought Boris would give her a hand.

Seems he is hiding from Angela behind Theresa skirts.

15 days left for tory collapse.

I wonder what bribes will be offered to prevent further defections?
