I'm not really looking forward to it this year. There was indeed a ban last year, which means they are quite a bit bigger than normal this year. Sort of badger size, I'm told. Good idea to invite them to supper first, get 'em smashed and then just 'retire' them. But the smell .......

little woman might be dropping in here, a possible player for the game.....

8 Ball - 15 Feb 2003 17:36 - 494 of 23498

I've been told they cook well on a George foreman grill, but you must roll them under the car wheel first.

I've always hunted Haggis with a bazooka. The big advantage is that after you get one, there is not enough left to eat! That way you can concentrate on the sherry trifle.

andycarr - 16 Feb 2003 01:38 - 496 of 23498

Hi all... Just dropped by to see if anyone was in the Tea Rooms on my way back from a gig... but the lights were off!

GD see you are still trying to fix me up with Vasey.... but she only wants me for my computer skills... ;o)

Night all...

vasey - 16 Feb 2003 08:44 - 497 of 23498

Let's see. A man who listened to a probably badly phrased question, didn't lose interest and wander off on some fantasy about cars or football after word three, who then came up with relevant, helpful and constructive advice. And so far I've only tested your computer skills..... I just couldn't work out how to send you an e-valentine without the sender being obvious......!

hilary - 16 Feb 2003 12:46 - 498 of 23498

Anyone for a glass of Banks Best bitter? Can I try a glasss of vasey's chilled white Burgundy instead?

Socrates - 16 Feb 2003 13:20 - 499 of 23498

Hi ladies, is this ladies day or can a suave, urbane gentleman join in? If the bar's open I'll have a glass of Lambrusco Bianco, something nice and light to start the day. Anyone seen the menu, what's todays virtual special?

It's the sort of thing you'd expect to hear at a Brazilian carnival.
