Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Two big thrills for you today, kiddie, yes I live in Wimbledon.
The first time you've got anything right since your first successful potty training last week.

The monster orgasmic event for you is your hero's birthday.

Why does the British govt do nothing about these muslim lunatics. We have the 2enemy within" and it is here for all to see and listen to.
These guys should be deported to Iran asap or any other country where they want to ply their sickening points of view.

I agree that they should be dealt with in a more strict way, but the chances are that many of them have British nationality either by birth or by becoming British citizens and cannot be deported.

It is interesting that some countries take away citizenship and deport people back to their original country if they turn out to be less than ideal citizens. It would help if citizenship had some element of a probationary period for say ten years during which a reasonable standard of behaviour could be expected. The current state is even worse than the citizenship problem. Once permission to stay here is granted then it is almost impossible to get rid of someone.

There is a case at present where someone who was given permission to stay here had been driving without any documents for years and was caught multiple times. He eventually ran over a girl and dragged her under the car for some distance leaving her to die in the street and then drove off. A deportation order was granted, but the courts cancelled it on appeal due violating his human rights. Cameron has been complaining about the case for the last couple of months.

By the way, parrot, don't be jealous of those of us who live in nice places like Wimbledon, just try getting a job.

Haystack - 20 Apr 2011 13:56 - 4942 of 6906

You would have to accept that Wimbledon is a nice place to live, which I do not. It is is in South London for a start, which would rule it out being a nice place anyway. ore like New Malden/Raynes Park anyway, which is a tip of an area.

Kenyan lawmakers have strongly condemned Israel for dispatching mercenaries and spreading political unrest in the east African country, a report says.

The lawmakers say the mercenaries of Israeli origin were planning to assassinate high-profile political figures and target key government installations, a Press TV correspondent reported.

We have reports that there are two mercenaries in Kenya of Israeli descent who are here to carry out assassinations targeting key politicians amongst the Prime minister and the Speaker of the National Assembly, said Millie Odhiambo, a member of Kenyas Parliament and a key supporter of the countrys premier.

Prime Minister Raila Odinga at a media briefing in Nairobi confirmed the reports, saying he was due to discuss the matter with Israeli envoy to Kenya.

I have heard like you too that there are mercenaries here but that is all can say but I have seen a request by the Israeli ambassador who wants to meet me to

Haystack - 20 Apr 2011 14:14 - 4946 of 6906

There is a strong likelyhood that Palestine intends to make a unilateral announcement of a Palestinian state in September. Israel is none too happy about this and nor is the US. The intention is to put the request before the UN in September. Indications are that the US may not vote against it.

I'm all for a Palestinian state achieved peacefully.
Israel needs to take the initiative now and enter serious negotiations.

Haystack - 20 Apr 2011 16:17 - 4948 of 6906

That won't happen as all they want is more land. There are several quotes from various leaders including Netenyahu saying that the more land they get the better as the Palestinians will never get it back. They don't want peace. It has been said by Israeli leaders before that no Arab has the right to a single piece of land in 'greater' Israel. Greater Israel includes the West Bank as well and all the land to the Jordan river.

Peace negociations are a delaying tactic to get more land settled. Abbas and the PA offered incredible and quite shocking concessions as revealed by the PA papers leaked by Al Jazeera and still Israel said no. That was the best deal they are ever going to get. The second problem is that even with a peace deal, Hezbollah and Hamas won't accept it without the return of Palestinian refugees. Israel won't accept that.

Plenty of bloodshed to come then and to turn you on.

Haystack - 20 Apr 2011 16:33 - 4950 of 6906

I don't want to see any bloodshed at all, but it will almost certainly happen with the current policies of Israel. The very least a settlement would have to be is 1967 borders, the right of return of Palestinian refugees, compensatrion for land and property taken within Israel post 1948 and the return of ALL land settled in the West Bank. All land within the West Bank has to be returned because that is where Palestine would be. At some stage after a Palestine state was formed, they would expect to have their own army etc as any other state.

Exactly. And that is why there will be no peace treaty with any value.
