THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Yes all over Twitter Fred..........

Somebody has just told me they have seen a draft copy of a letter asking Cameron to stand down before Xmas.

Mentions of Haque to postpone his retirement from politics.

Interesting!

Haystack, QT

Agree , Labour MP towing the party line , it wasn't our fault we left the country bankrupt it was the other lot [ Labour's 1year of tory boom and Labour's 13 years of bust ]. And add in a bit of childish UKIP bashing.

IDS should be a candidate for his own Work Programme 7/11/2014

for sure the tories will be fighting hard for EM to stay in place

what a dreadful bunch of political leaders and frontbenchers of all denominations we are currently stuck with, and for the foreseeable future

Fred1new - 07 Nov 2014 08:35 - 49506 of 81564

Typical of the tory party propaganda unit.

MaxK - 07 Nov 2014 08:37 - 49507 of 81564

cynic - 07 Nov 2014 08:44 - 49508 of 81564

TANKER - 07 Nov 2014 08:45 - 49509 of 81564

the 1.7b that the eu says yhe the uk must pay is a con it was dreamed up by Cameron and eu leaders for Cameron to get it down 60% and for him to say we have won its all about the eu wanting the uk to stay in the eu and get Cameron back in power a bloody con trick

Fred1new - 07 Nov 2014 08:48 - 49510 of 81564

I wonder if the Daily Mail is playing to the Rothermere's card as they did in the 1930s.

Is the antagonism or fear of Ed Milliband of a similar nature?

It certainly has the same smell around its smearing as it did then.

Anyway back to Hazyone's dear leader, he does seem to be doing a wonderful job alienating everybody at Helsinki.

Better send Haque, or perhaps the whip handler Theresa, that will sort them out.

But, perhaps the latter should spend more time sorting out the problems she is creating at the home office and clarify the little problems she has of counting "them" in and out of the country!

cynic - 07 Nov 2014 08:48 - 49511 of 81564

i recollect cynically suggesting something similar a couple of weeks back :-)
we shall see

Wait for Call Me Dave to get off the aircraft waving a piece of paper saying

"peace in our time"

Manuel,

I did note your remark and thought similarly about some public of the public's reaction now to E.M..

Stinks.

ExecLine - 07 Nov 2014 09:26 - 49514 of 81564

GF

Serious question for you.....

How do you rate the chances of Chucka Umuna (sorry, I've just remembered there's no 'c' in his name) Chuka Umuna becoming leader of the Labour Party instead of Ded MillyBoringBellyBand?

Umuna is a good looking guy, with tons more presence and charisma and would surely get much more support. I've seen him and heard him on QT and he is quite likeable, really. IMHO, Umuna is much more of a leader and a winner too.

In fact, the only thing going against him is his patch, which is Streatham, London, and not one of the northern terriories. Could he not be encouraged to go on visits 'up north' and then that problem would be sorted?

Anyhow, I like him tons more than EM and I'm sure everyone feels the same.

And can you 'c' how easy it is to remember his name?

cynic - 07 Nov 2014 09:26 - 49515 of 81564

now try that in english and perhaps with your teeth in! :-)

ExecLine - 07 Nov 2014 09:29 - 49516 of 81564

In case you mean me, I've got my teeth in. :-)

MaxK - 07 Nov 2014 09:30 - 49517 of 81564
