ptholden hi,
I say nothing of the sort, I state what I think will be the market size, nowhere do I say that Stanelco will get 100% of that market !

When ASDA exclusivity runs out, the rollout will really move into top
gear, with a queue of retailers (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, M&S,
Etc Etc) all wanting Stanelco's RF fitted ASAP. Plus all the existing
ASDA suppliers will want to convert their non-ASDA lines, plus all
<> other suppliers wanting to supply the major retailers, will need RF to
compete.

"As far as Greenseal is concerned, the total USA market will likely end up at 100,000 machines, when all the different types are converted..."
So what are these 100,000 machines being converted to?

ptholden Hi,
I am not saying that 100,000 machines are being converted, what I am saying is that once the different types .... "(MAP, Non-MAP, Pot Fill and Seal, Bags, Thermoform, Ready Meals, etc)" .... are taken into account, tested and commecialised, rather than the 50,000 MAP only machines quoted by Howard White, that the market will be 100,000 machines in USA.
ASDA/Tony Ruane are currently going through ALL the possible uses of Greenseal, as it said in the RNS of a few weeks back, they are finding loads more uses for it, and when they have finished, I think that will give Greenseal a 'market' of 100,000 machines in the USA only.
Cheers,
PM

sequestor, roflmfacbh&to.? i think i get most of it but what's the h&t bit? head and toe?
paul, welcome to the thread but, steady on , lad! we all know what seo can potentially achieve. figures like that leave you wide open, though. let's stick to what has been reported. if andys or jacks are about , i would appreciate their comments re my post , as to wether other supermarkets are going to make life difficult for packers? agree with you , baza, it's good to have a steady eddie day, see if we have new support and resistance. so far, looking good. we could really do with some news though.

Ah, so we arrive at an agreement, 100,000 machines are not going to be converted (well, not that we know of at the moment), but the MARKET may be 100,000 machines. Like to get these things straight. I won't clutter up the thread anymore, else Driver, Baza, Eric, Andy S etc, will be giving me a hard time.

Chaps - I think this is being blown out of proportion and we are getting a little heated and pedantic.
Can we just agree that the potential market for the SEO products are huge - lets get the first 10 in the bag first - then the next 100 - then the next 100.
The best way to eat an elephant is one byte at a time.
The best way for SEO to conquer the world is one bit at a time - and with patience.
Come on guys - we are all on the same side here.

Hi All,
I have been chatting to Tim Freeborn this week via e-mail, and I like the fact he admits the EVO figures are very conservative ....
From shares Mag 26/05/2005
"Freeborn is cautious as he is reluctant to raise his forecasts on the back of the first order but he admits that his forecasts for this year could be too low"
Cheers,

Sequestor = belabed = inmfamous Stanelco basher, bashing Stanelco on advfn for over a year, from 4p to a high of 30.5p, keep attacking me all you like, you will be seen for what you are, and filtered by all SEO longs, your posts so far certainly have not been worth my time reading them.
I just unfiltered you for 1 minute, and there you are doing your usual PERSONAL ATTACK on me, the same one you did on advfn bb's for over a year, and what did you get, laughed at, 4p to 30.5p LOL !!!!

ptholden/bhunt1910 Hi,
My figures are always higher than the conservative broker figures, and lemminginvestor do their own research, and have come up with the same numbers as me. Uncanny, and when they published their figures, they came to this conclusion ....
"The potential for this is so large that those who understand the issues hardly dare to quantify the potential, for fear of disbelief and then derision."
(From FYB member Elric a.k.a the Editor at www.lemminginvestor.com)

Not getting heated and don't think I am being pedantic either. I know how that post read and what it stated rather than implied. As Bos says' 'steady on.' As I have already stated I am invested in SEO and would wish, along with the rest of you for more contract wins and a reflected increase in the SP. However, realsim must prevail for this thread to retain credibility, because ramping will do as much harm as bashing. Let's keep our feet firmly on the ground and I am sure the rewards will follow.

Bosley Hi,
He is not allowed to allow you to publish his broker notes on here, because the FSA would slice and dice him.
I have seen them all posted on advfn, they are posted within an hour of being published.

Spot on ptholden. You realise that PM has been banned from competitor? I prefer IIs pessimism than ramping diarrhoea.

I have no problem with PM, although I was aware of his disappearance from the 'other side' Don't know the facts of the matter, must admit I don't really care.

Hi All,
As far as research goes, have a look at my website, it's 100% research, no suggested or implied valuation, or any ramping of any kind.
That's the biggest reason the bashers from advfn hate me, because the facts are all there for everyone to work Stanelco out for themselves.
