Foreign doctor Daniel Ubani successfully sues the son of the pensioner that he killed

A foreign doctor has successfully sued the son of a man he killed, for thousands of pounds in legal fees.

Daniel Ubani administered pensioner David Gray with a lethal drug overdose in 2008, but now a German court has ordered Gray’s family to pay the doctor’s court costs and write a letter of apology to him.

Ubani, a German citizen, had made the deadly decision during his first shift working as a locum doctor in the UK.

Following the death, he was struck off the UK medical register, but still practises as a doctor in Germany.


Mr Gray’s two sons, Rory and Stuart, say they have been campaigning for justice since their father’s death. In 2010, the brothers attended a medical conference were Ubani was present and called him “a charlatan”, “a killer”, and an “animal”.

Looking at the rags Mail and Telegraph it would appear that they are trying to undermine E.M. at every possible step.

To me, it would seem that they, Hazyone and the tory dirty tricks' office are frightened of him.

But, why should he do anything other than watch the government implode.

I think for the time being it is time for Labour to consider their position, bolster their defences, look at overall strategy and beware of falling into the traps of dirty politics.

Their position is strong and Cameron knows it and is thrashing about in his own self made jungle.

A game to watch with interest.

There is still time for the lesser spotted millibandus to be replaced.

Not a good scenario for the tory's as they might get someone who actually knows what they are doing.

The timing is all wrong, the new year is when the big guns will turn on Ed.

But Umuna does have 'presence' and easily seems to command lots of respect.

Perhaps, as GF tells us, at this stage in his political career, it is far too early days for him.

fred - if DM was at the helm, labour would be a shoo-in ..... as it is, they find themselves with a millstone (and the wrong miliband) round their necks ..... i bet the tories are campaigning hard to give unite and similar hard-left unions even more power in choosing the labour leader!


EL - on the couple of occasions i have seen that chap on television, i totally agree ..... he presents very well indeed and if labour lose the next election, he may just get the job, giving the party faithful time to get used to the idea of having a black immigrant leader!

I don't think the British would welcome a coloured prime minister for another couple of decades. It's not like the US where a much higher percentage of the population is non-white, and look at the struggle Barry The Kenyan faced to get into the Oval Office. And let's face it, a high percentage of Brits are pretty racist as demonstrated by the support UKIP is getting.

So, it's not just too early for Umuna imo, it's too early for Britain as a whole.

There's a degree of antisemitism directed towards Spurs, but it's not particularly racist in the UK. It is in mainland Europe, however- Mario Balotelli took a lot of stick from his own fans in Italy.

Black's are racist to , they don't like Indian/paki's, Nigerians look down on West Indians , etc

Chuka Umunna is unlikely to be made leader at the moment as he is regarded as a Blairite and too far to the right for the activists in the party.

I do agree about many UKIP supoorters being closet racists and plenty of them well out of the closet.

And many Labour MP's are closet Torys by the life styles they lead in private

Of course UKIP members and supporters are a racist bunch. You've only got to look at their demographics to understand that - white British, predominantly male, mostly over 60, Daily Mail readers. And where does the moronic TANKER fit into that list exactly?
