Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Qwento you are right and I got fed up trading just before this big drop and I was short too but as I couldn't trust L2 and I trade the order book I gave up :-(

Fingers crossed Ian then

Apologies to you all - as I say JT has made our suppliers aware of this and they will be investigating to try and eliminate this problem. When we are updated by them, I will of course update you all,

Ian

If they can't get it right I know loads of testers who work on Trading platforms who can get it right...they aren't cheap through but they get the job done

IanT(MoneyAM) - 17 May 2006 16:24 - 4962 of 7315

Di,

They have the resources to investigate this, and I am confident they together with help from our tech team will find and resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Di,

I will monitor it and see if I can see this.

Will let you know,

Ian

Di,

L2 is correct, and have just monitored firstly aal and rio against Level 2 and they are updating at the same pace with the correct figures.

May be worthwhile you restarting when you have a convenient point to do it, to see if this clears the problem as it sounds as though the applet is 'sticking' on your machine.

Ian - losers toplist(and presumably the other lists) is showing different percentage changes to L2 and stockwatch (DMR being the most obvious example).

Whilst it doesn't make much odds today, with lots of dubious changes due to several MMs going offline before close yesterday, it would be nice to have it sorted out, so we have accurate info tomorrow.

Cheers,
dell

Ok Ian I will try that

IanT(MoneyAM) - 18 May 2006 09:31 - 4969 of 7315

dell,

I will get the tech guys to take a look into it,

Ian

qwento - 18 May 2006 09:43 - 4970 of 7315

Level1 is OK at the moment but I can confirm that it was 'sticky' earlier this morning and also yesterday afternoon.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 18 May 2006 09:47 - 4971 of 7315

qwento,

Thanks for that - I have not noticed any problems myself, but I will keep an eye on things at this end,

Ian

Thx Qwento...so it wasn't just me...ok now and I haven't had time for a restart.

"I will get the tech guys to take a look into it".

The toplists are still complete garbage!

Many of the stocks and percentage changes on the top30 losers appear unchanged from yesterday and many of the prices don't even tally up with current prices on stockwatch or L2....

Please can you get it sorted.

Rgds
