Ascent Resources - Speculative but Big Potential (AST)

Talking to yourself papalliar, no doubt you'll tag to granny now. So transparent it's ridiculous!

I like AST drilling PG-11 on a sole risk basis.

So much potential upside and of course there is no way for Enquest to ever get back in cheaply (if they ever wanted to) due to "sole risk" rules and subsequent valuation explosion.

Will make the farm out terms very much more attractive - all we need is a good drill result, finally.

Directors buying......

10K, better they are buying something than buying nothing at all....... and there were some other recent buys as well a few months back.

Proselenes - 19 Nov 2010 13:50 - 502 of 707

Would also suggest they have no plans to tap the SEDA under 6.5p.......

grannyboy - 19 Nov 2010 13:55 - 503 of 707

thats what the BODs prefered prose and the rest of us i should imagine? always nice to see directors buying also strong volume building for buys this afternoon....

Proselenes - 19 Nov 2010 14:01 - 504 of 707

GB yes, but still clearing out the stale bulls, its going to take more buying.

News of PG-11 spudding will add something but the big news that would clear the overhang in a short spurt would be Hermrigen-2 spudding news.......

So come on eCORP, lets be having a spud in Switzerland.

grannyboy - 19 Nov 2010 15:34 - 505 of 707

Yes Prose reckon next wed IMHO!!!!!!

grannyboy - 19 Nov 2010 18:08 - 506 of 707

all in all a positive week should be another next week? especialy if ast get tipped, if well PG11 is successfull it could make it europes largest onshore gas field making it interesting to a larger company.....

Proselenes - 20 Nov 2010 00:15 - 507 of 707

GB, that is why PG-11 is key for Slovenia

A good well and then they are farming out "Europe's largest onshore gas field".

As was said, if you want to turn a 25m company into a 250m company sometimes you have to do big things, and sole risk on PG-11 is a big thing but the benefits of a good well will be very big too.

If we get Hermrigen-2 spudded soon as well we might have 2 drills ongoing at the same time, woo hoo for AST...... two potential company makers on the go.

grannyboy - 20 Nov 2010 09:21 - 508 of 707

Yes prose definitely exciting times ahead....

Proselenes - 22 Nov 2010 08:38 - 509 of 707

On line check shows demand for stock is strong.

Max Buy = 100K @ 6.75p

Max Sell = 250K @ 6.5p

L2 is blue and 2 v 3 @ 6.25 / 6.75

grannyboy - 22 Nov 2010 08:46 - 510 of 707

Looking good Prose nice rise market looking to future.

Proselenes - 22 Nov 2010 10:10 - 511 of 707

The churn is good, we are now getting rid of the stale bulls, in fact, it looks like most of them are now out and clear.

This means we should consolidate around this level for some time and then its ready to move on upwards with good news.

grannyboy - 22 Nov 2010 18:56 - 512 of 707

Nice blue monday, despite MMs doing treeshake must be desparate to get hold of some shares, and decent volume

Proselenes - 23 Nov 2010 00:17 - 513 of 707

Intraday recoveries are a sign of strength..... weak/stale holders out and new ones in.

Proselenes - 23 Nov 2010 11:39 - 514 of 707

Good buying and selling today, 2 way trading and stale bulls getting taken out.

grannyboy - 23 Nov 2010 18:32 - 515 of 707

Some nice big buys today i topped up but it wasnt those 300k numbers, should have another rise tomorow??...

Proselenes - 23 Nov 2010 23:40 - 516 of 707

Was indeed GB lots of 2 way trading, decent buys and decent sells - all clears out the stale bulls and consolidates the price at these levels pending more news.

dealerdear - 24 Nov 2010 11:02 - 517 of 707

MM's are having fun as they are with all their stocks atm.

The best price to actually buy the share over the past few weeks was 5.5p. The price looked as though it was going up but then dropped to bid-5p offer 5.5p.

On the recent news, for those nimble enough they could have sold at around 6.5p for a small profit. Of course most thought it was going higher so bought into the news. The response is the MM's have now dropped the price.

This is a story recurring everywhere in the last few weeks with the result that another shed load of PI's are trapped in the share. They can of course extract themselves out of it for a loss.

Hence all the comments above are just nonsense and should be disregarded. No doubt a profit will be made on those who are in at these prices as long as they don't mind waiting a few months for it.
