Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

cynic - 22 Jan 2009 13:08 - 498 of 6906

Peter ..... they never hit anything so clearly need the practice!

MightyMicro - 22 Jan 2009 13:45 - 499 of 6906

This thread's about to hit 500 rants, er, posts.

cynic - 22 Jan 2009 13:52 - 500 of 6906

please exclude me from the "rants" list ..... or at least i hope i have not lowered myself to the inflammatory tones of some

Ruth - 22 Jan 2009 14:15 - 501 of 6906

I wish someone would put a rocket up Freds arse and send him off somewhere where he cant spout his nonsense off,
more worrying is if hes drummed all this sort of crap into his children too while growing up,
who may believe his word, cause for the life of me i cant see fred having a sensible debate with anyone, its his way or no way from what ive seen

rawdm999 - 22 Jan 2009 14:40 - 502 of 6906

Totally agree Ruth, especially the kids bit ... and he hasn't answered a single question I put to him.

cynic - 22 Jan 2009 14:42 - 503 of 6906

Gausie says the same about me - lol!

Gausie - 22 Jan 2009 14:42 - 504 of 6906

hmmm

Fred's arguments really do seem to be based on the use of disproportionate stupidity.

rawdm999 - 22 Jan 2009 14:43 - 505 of 6906

Define disproportionate please Gausie.

Fred1new - 22 Jan 2009 14:47 - 506 of 6906

The dog pack is out again.

rawdm999 - 22 Jan 2009 14:48 - 507 of 6906

Just trying to keep a well balanced debate Fred thats all.

Raw I sure you can understand the pictures.

Ruth - 22 Jan 2009 15:03 - 510 of 6906

Fred, can you please pin point a date for me when you suddenly started believing everything you saw on the news or read in the papers as non biased etc?
cause im sure me and you have had this argument before, only it was me coming under attack on those occasions for basing my views on the media and not facts as you so often reminded me.
So have you now changed your views on the media, as you appear to now trust the content of the news and newspapers with no factual proof ?
Im just curious thats all? have you personally witnessed any of these attacks on gaza and know the full extent of all the circumstances around them ?either presently or in previous years?
are you basing your views on what youve seen/read in the media or personal experience,

rawdm999 - 22 Jan 2009 15:14 - 511 of 6906

I cannot understand the pictures. I agree that they show something but they are not concrete evidence or fact. We just don't know the truth. I am fortunate to have never witnessed this close up but I believe aircraft use phosphorus countermeasure. It is feasible that a helicopter at low level may have needed to defend itself. I am not an expert in military hardware.

Re. the doctor, I know about this story and it is deeply disturbing but I have been told that the reporting is slightly different to that on pressTV. Regardless, it is a complete waste of life!

cynic - 22 Jan 2009 15:15 - 512 of 6906

Gausie reckons anyone who does not answer his questions directly and specifically and in the manner in which he would like is disproportionately evasive!

Ruth ..... i would doubt that anyone here has done other than read or seen on tv ..... all one can do is try to evaluate and form ones own opinion from the information available ..... this effectively becomes fact unless proven to the contrary ..... i'm not sure that i have phrased that very well, but my brain is a bit tired today

Gausie - 22 Jan 2009 15:19 - 513 of 6906

Cynic - not disproportionately evasive, just plain slimey.

Ruth - 22 Jan 2009 15:19 - 514 of 6906

rawdm999
Its frightening isnt it, how we teach our kids will have a big factor on their views in life, its how hatred escalates,
i was mortified to see the video clips posted here of young gaza children who looked about 5 years old being taught and encouraged to hate and kill,

What hope is there for peace,?

ps fred has an habit of not answering questions directly, and on the rare occasion you do get an answer, he will go all round the houses and still come out with the same shite anyway,
hes usually so politically correct, unless of course the agenda doesnt suit ,
consistency isnt his strong point,

rawdm999 - 22 Jan 2009 15:26 - 515 of 6906

Ruth, you have him well and truly figured out. Maybe he will be able to figure himself out one day. I saw some gaza videos many years ago where mothers slice babies heads and they are taught nothing but hate from birth. It scares the hell out of me.

I've also seen the palestinian propoganda machine 'setting up' some of their videos. They are so good at it it would put the bbc to shame.

Also, has anyone noticed how the Hamas militants are now patrolling Gaza in shiny new 4x4 pickups instead of the usual battered taxi's etc. Were did the money come from to buy these if the population is starving?

Oh well on with the balanced debate......

Fred1new - 22 Jan 2009 15:26 - 516 of 6906

G. Another intelligent remark. Does it represent your level thought.

I will await the change of American foreign policies by the New American administration.

cynic - 22 Jan 2009 15:29 - 517 of 6906

Gausie .... what else would you expect from a bald, old and bow-legged yid?
