Placing at 0.8p (SEO)

hangon - 01 Nov 2006 15:35

November 2006 awaiting Placing stock ( at just 0.8pence ) where recently the sp was about 26p - That is 1/32 what investors paid.
/
Will SEO become the supplier of choice to Supermarkets?

That is the ONLY issue - and whilst I hold (and took some during the Placing), it would help ots if current management stepped-down and some Execs too over who were familiar with Supermarket politics.

I have no doubt the product works, although I have never seen any - which should be a worry, perhaps the Placing Documents were sent to me in a GreenSeal envelope - that wold have been a great Publicity Boost......but the company Execs aren't really Thinking-Types, are they - otherwise how does one explain the Market's retreat from 28p to a paltry 1.5p today?

Is it worth buying SEO today?
- Not when others are paying almost half the Market price.....let's see how SEO uses this new-found cash - new carpets for the Execs, deep matresses so they can slumber ............ or, appointing some fire-brand who will rip this business out of 20c complacancy and into the (Retail) solution-provider that makes Packaging a polite word?

By Xmas'06 we should hear what SEO is doing, other than having a good Party....and that will set the progress for 2007 - if they get moving then this will be a good investment, but if they continue as before, expect the dosh to be wasted and delay to occur and that will be that.
The ONLY good thing is that being full-market, a small punt in your ISA is tax-free, do you feel lucky? Whatever you do don't stretch your investment, just 10% of what you currently hold will be pain-free should SEO fail, but a nice boost if it comes good in say 4 years' time - assuming some changes in Management.
Grr!

Well, with the bad news Out - ( = this business hasn't a shread of credibility, some might say) - look at the sp! ...those Institutions that bought at 0.8p didn't get much, did they? For now, even after some sad folks have come back for more(Huh!), the Buy price is 0.6 pence; that's either 25% or 33% difference, depending whether you are a half-full OR half-empty type.
As far as SEO is concerned, I think it's obvious it IS empty... and worse, some bar-blighter has removed the glass, so all that's left is the "ring" on the beer-mat and a slight whiff of stale tales.

It also explains why the Execs only bought a minimal amount of Stock in April 2007....Oh dear.....Retail Shareholders are being shafted by inept Management. I pity the "new-Man" who jacked in a decent job on being told all the good SEO- things....like they were true!
